Blog Design Team: Missing You
Happy hump day, crafty friends! We are finally settling back down from CHA, but today’s card has us thinking about all the wonderful people we got to meet and get to know during our time at the conference. Today, Blog Design Team member Cindy Lawrence has her first official project as a new member of the team, and it’s a lovely missing you card…
And now, here’s Cindy to tell us all about her project…
There’s nothing quite like a quiet, moon-lit evening, is there? It’s
in those quiet moments that we especially find ourselves missing our
long-distance loved ones. Whether your loved one is away at school, has
moved, or perhaps is just traveling for a few days, the From My Window
stamp set is the perfect choice for a sweet card to let them know how
you feel. The best part? This set has five additional images and seven additional sentiments for all kinds of occasions.
I created the window using the Arched Window die, the shutters and
window box using the Window Accessories die, and the sweet kitty cat
using the Window Cat die. Playing with these dies is as much fun as paper dolls were when I was in
grade school!The
brick wall was created using the Brick Embossing Folder, and the
wood-look border was created using the Bead Board Embossing Folder.A bit of navy and white striped twine and a couple of navy enamel dots finish off the details.
