Happy Wednesday, crafty peeps! Today we’ve got a darling project for you as Blog Design Team member Sharon Harnist continues her sweet 6×6 Calendar series with her next installment for the month of April! Enjoy!

Hello TE fans — I hope your March has been fabulous! Today I am getting ready for Spring weather and have my April calendar to share. Have Spring rains already hit your part of the country? This sweet TE Calendar Critters piggy is ready for hers! Here’s how this 6×6 calendar page came together:

After printing the 2016 6×6 calendar download on white cardstock and trimming it down to 5-1/2” x 5-1/2”, I airbrushed Copic BG000 onto the top portion. Next, I embossed the top with the Raindrops Embossing Folder.

Sweet little piggy from Calendar Critters was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Sugar Cube cardstock and die cut with her coordinating die.  She was colored with these Copic markers:

Next, I die cut the Cloud Duo from Sugar Cube cardstock and stamped the large cloud with piggy’s “April showers” sentiment from the Calendar Critters stamp set in Memento Teal Zeal ink. The clouds were then shimmered with Clear Wink of Stella marker and popped up with foam tape. To finish the calendar, I rounded the corners and adhered it to a 6-inch Cookie Monster base.
