Blog Design Team: Gettin’ Inky with Stamps

Hey there, crafty friends! We hope you have been having a great week. Today, Blog Design Team member Isha Gupta, has been having some fun with her stamps and our new Matched Premium Ink. She’s created a beautifully stamped card and we can’t wait to share it with you! Check it out…

And now, here’s Isha to tell us all about her project…

Hello TE fans! Today, I am sharing a fun way to think outside the box and stretch your stamps! Usually, whenever I get a new product, I just stare at it for a few minutes and then I get all these images in my head. Once that part is done, I simply try to execute my vision. Well, it doesn’t work every time but this card turned out exactly how I imagined!

I also like to mix and match different stamp sets. For this card I used our Stroke of Genius 2 stamp and turned it into a flower. I used the leaves and tiny flowers from the Simply Stamped – Roses stamp set and the sentiment from C’mon Get Happy. Now, I have to say the new TE Premium Inks make me feel so happy. Here I used some of the pretty colors.

First I stamped the 3 big strokes and then stamped the smaller stroke onto it to make it look like a flower. I then stamped the leaves and tiny flower.

I then stamped the sentiment and die-cut it using one of the frames from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate! I then, die-cut the frames two more times using white cardstock. Then I stacked the frame using the two die-cuts and the inside part with the sentiment using one die-cut. This gives various depth and dimension to the sentiment.

Hope this will inspire you to look at your stamps differently and I have to say, “it’s FUN!”

You can find more of Isha’s fabulous work on her blog, New Ideas. Have a joyful day!
