Creative Team Spotlight: Meet Pam, Michele, and Shelly & a Giveaway!
It’s Monday crafty friends, and we are so thrilled! The reason is we’re introducing more of our incredible Creative Team to you!
We love our designers so much we would love for you to get to know them all a little better. Each month, we’ll introduce some of these lovely ladies and celebrate with a fun giveaway! Keep reading for details on how you can win a $25 Gift Certificate to the TE Store!
We thought we’d share a few of our favorite projects that really show off the wide range of styles of our Creative Team. Enjoy!
Pam Sparks, Expressions With Heart
Pam is a wife, mom to 3 married daughters and grandma to 17 kiddos! She grew up in Council Bluffs/Omaha, where she loved riding her bike, playing the piano, singing, reading and sewing. Pam married her husband, Tim, and moved to Oskaloosa, IA. She has always loved crafting/creating, quilting and handwork. The first time she saw stamping demonstrated was at a homeschool convention in April of 1994, and she was hooked! Later that year, Pam and her daughters opened a rubber stamp store and were successful at ‘enabling’ others for 12 years. Since then, Pam became a blogger, instructor, and enjoys stamping, Copic coloring, and die-cutting on her fabulous projects.
Shelly Mercado, Popsicle Toes
Shelly and her wonderful family (3 boys and a girl, plus a retired Marine husband — who is also a talented drummer) live in Minnesota. Shelly has moved around quite a bit in the past, including St Louis, Chicago, Philadelphia and San Diego, but settled in the Twin Cities to raise her family. Shelly went from being an office manager and going out a lot, to being a SAHM in a new area where she didn’t know many people. After her second baby, she discovered cardmaking and realized it was the perfect creative outlet. Shelly is also a fabulous photographer and also loves to knit and sew. Photography, she admits, is her first love and remains a constant for its ability to capture the people she loves and their precious moments. A very busy mom, Shelly spends much of her time cooking, cleaning, keeping up with three kids in three different schools, and hanging out with a toddler! A fan of dies, Shelly especially loves working with our stamp & die combos, and we love seeing her beautiful work every month! Food fact: Shelly loves spicy food…the spicier the better!
Michele Boyer, Paper Cuts
Michele lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two busy teens. She’s always been a crafter, but paper crafting has definitely become her greatest passion. Michele was introduced to stamping about ten years ago when a friend invited her to a stamping workshop. At the time, she had no idea what she was getting herself into! Other than paper crafting, Michele enjoys reading, cooking, knitting and pretty much anything that involves family or friends. Michele is a huge fan of Copic markers and hopes to master the art of watercolor next. Her favorite places to visit are in Arizona (Tucson and Sedona), but if she had her way, she’d be cruising to any island surrounded by warm air and clear blue water. We have always loved Michele’s sweet and fresh style and love her work!
