It wouldn’t be a party without PRIZES!
To mark our eighth birthday, we’ll be giving away EIGHT GIFT CERTIFICATES throughout the week! Gift certificates will be awarded in increments of $10 all the way up to $80. That means we’ll be giving away one gift certificate in each of these 8 denominations: $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, $60, $70, and $80!
It wouldn’t be a party without CAKE!
A winner will be chosen from among all the orders placed between Thursday, September 1st at 7am PST and Sunday, September 4th at 11:59pm PST. Only U.S. shipping addresses are eligible (sorry… they don’t ship cupcakes overseas!).
Today the Creative Team and I are taking a break from the birthday theme and diving into the rich colors and cozy textures of fall! My first project is a wreath that I’d love to display on my front door, but I’ll have to settle for a paper-crafted version. This was made using the Fall Florals stamp set:
I started my one-layer stamping by cutting a circle frame from masking paper and adhering it to a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock. Then using several of the ink colors being released this month (Mulled Wine, Toffee, Dijon, and Sweet Basil) along with previously released colors (Pumpkin, Chocolate Truffle) I began stamping the images from Fall Florals inside the masked wreath shape. I began with the green sprig and stamped it around the outside of the circle four times. I was happy to see that it fit end to end just perfectly! Then I continued with the largest flower, the acorns, and filled in with the small flower in multiple colors.
The smallest flower is from the Fresh Florals stamp set. After removing the mask, I filled in some of the flowers and added detail to the stamped images with Copic markers. You wouldn’t have to take this step, but sometimes I just can’t leave things alone! After finishing up the stamped portion, I added sprinkles and sequins throughout the wreath and colored the orange flowers with clear Wink of Stella (which you can’t see in the picture but it adds just the right amount of sparkle!). I finished it off with the sentiment and a bow from the Mini Mix & Match Bows die set.
Here’s a look at the Fall Florals stamp set that I used on this project:
For my next project I used the adorable woodland critters from the Woodsy Wishes set paired with one of my favorite new products; the Birch Tree Background! Background stamps are a new product for us with this release and I LOVE them! I decided to go tone on tone for my first project, but I also have a holiday card in the works with the birch trees embossed in white… so pretty!
I started by stamping the birch tree background onto Toffee cardstock with Toffee ink. Then I stamped each of the critters onto Toffee cardstock with Chocolate Truffle ink. I’ve been loving the look of images colored with pencil onto kraft colored cardstock so I decided to try that with this card. The texture on the images is fun for a little something different!
I added a branch in the background for the owl to sit on and a bush at the bottom of the card using the Build a Scene – Rolling Clouds die. The sentiment was stamped onto Sugar Cube and die cut with the Stitched Banner Stacklets die.

We also have a very special guest joining us today to share the adorable card she created using the Wish Big Stamp and Die Combo which is FREE with purchases of $50 or more. Check out Amy Kolling’s beautiful card below! I just love the bright and happy colors she used and the cool sponged background that coordinates with the balloons! You can find all of the details on Amy’s card on her blog: Stamp-n-Paradise.
The rest of our Creative Team has been working hard on their fabulous fall projects. In addition to the products I showcased above, they’ll also be sharing projects using the following new products.
