Clad in Plaid
Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! It’s the last week of October (if you can believe it!) and we’ll be heading into the holiday season before you know it. Today we have a gorgeously plaid card to share with you today from Creative Team member Jean Manis that will get you in the mood to create some holiday joy in no time. She used our exclusive Wreath Cutting Plate (only available from the TE web store). Check it out…
A note from Jean…
I went through my stash of Christmas patterned papers and found two patterns that worked well together (after trying out several different plaids). I cut the wreath frame from gold cardstock (Metallic Neutrals pack) and backed the open spots with Scotch tape. I cut the patterned papers with the plate and placed those pieces into the frame. I stamped the sentiment from Ornamental with gold ink on the Red Pepper cardstock and attached that piece to the back of the frame. For embellishment, I added a glittery die-cut bow (Mini Mix & Match Bows).
Thank you so much, Jean, for sharing this fabulous and easy-to-make card with us! For more of her work, visit her blog, Right as Rain.
