Keepin’ Things Simple (with a bow on top!)
Happy very first week of 2017, crafty friends! With new years come fresh starts, and what better way to start anew than with a clean and simple card — a birthday card to greet the new year seems like to good project, and when we saw Shelly Mercado’s CAS card, we couldn’t wait to share it with you. A Note from Shelly on her card…
I love clean and simple cards and this one is right up my alley. There is nothing like a crisp, white, card with a pop of color. I used the Free Spirit stamp set for my sentiment and a sweet bow from Mini Mix & Match Bows.
The adorable paper is from Rainbow Brights Paper Pack and I used a thin strip of Lollipop Premium Card Stock to go with the bow.
I decided that since it I was making a pink card that it needed some sequins from Hello Happiness. Something I love about sequins is you can add a lot for maximum effect (like in a shaker card) or just a few as an accent.
