Yellow Brings the Sunshine!
Happy Friday, crafty friends! We hope you are excited for the first full weekend of the year. Will you be in your craft space stamping? Die-cutting? Either way, we’ve got some sunshine to send to you today with two fun-loving, yellow-themed cards from Shelly Mercado. Check them out…
A Note from Shelly about her get well card…
In this season of cold and winter you know that colds and sickness will follow! Have any of you been hit yet? My kids have brought home several rounds of colds from school and while it hasn’t been great, no one has been completely knocked out yet. Yay! Graphic Greetings Get Well is the perfect stamp for a quick and easy card to cheer someone up.
I paired it with the Ray of Sunshine Cutting Plate and yellow polka dot paper from Rainbow Brights Pattern Paper for a cheery look. I hope I won’t have a need for this card, but if I do, I’ll have one ready to use.
Next up, Shelly shares details about her chillaxing card!
A Note from Shelly about her Let’s Chill card…
Who doesn’t love an ice, cold, jar of lemonade on a hot, summer’s day? I know we’re heading into winter right now, but seeing this jar of lemonade makes me, well, just happy! I used two sets for this card, Let’s Chill and Mason Jar Stamp & Die Combo.
The mason jar die makes it so easy to make this into a window or a shaker card. I made mine into a faux shaker card…meaning I adhered everything into place, even the sequins. This is another card that makes me happy to look at and I’m hoping it makes you happy too!
Thank you, Shelly, for sharing these two cards full of sunshine! For more of Shelly’s work, visit her blog, Popsicle Toes. Be sure to tune in on Monday as we kick of Release Week with some fun prizes, sneak peek samples, and more! Have a joyful weekend!
