Sneak Peeks Day 1: Wishes in Bloom
Good morning, crafty friends! It’s Taylor here today and I’m super excited to get started with our first release of 2017! I hope your year is off to a great start and I hope you see something here today that puts a smile on your face. After all (as you’ll see on one of the projects below), “Life is better when you’re smiling!”.
For our first release of the year we’ll be showcasing several new designs of one of our most popular products, Stamp & Die Combos, in addition to new dies and a new set of inspiration watercolor panels. We’ll have more Exercise Grumplings inspiration coming to you on Day 3 of sneak peeks, but for now, here’s an adorable card designed by Michele Boyer (isn’t it hilarious!?):
Now let’s get to the sneak peeks for today! You might recognize our first set, Wish Big, as it was offered free with a $50 purchase during our birthday celebration in September. If you didn’t earn the set in September now you have a chance to purchase it! Here’s a look at the stamp and die combo along with a bright, bold birthday card that Jean Manis made using this set:
For the next project I wanted to show you a little more unconventional use for the same set I know not all of you will have a gender reveal party in your future, but I know someone who will… ME! We’re expecting our third little one at the end of May!
Here’s a look at the invites for the gender reveal party we’ll be hosting at the end of the month. Gender reveal parties weren’t really a “thing” when I was pregnant with our two girls, but if they had been, I totally would have done it!
I made 25 of these which is the most mass-producing I’ve done for a while! I stamped the balloons and strings across the top and then applied Stick It to the back of my cardstock before die cutting the letters to spell ‘he’ and ‘she’. This saved a lot of time!
Next up for today is a cute set called Bloomin’ Birthday along with a blast from the past technique on the cards I created!
I went back to the old stand-by “one sheet wonder” technique for these cards. I created my own patterned paper by stamping an entire sheet of Sugar Cube cardstock with different florals and colors using our dye based inks that have awesome coverage. Then to give it a bit more interest I added some accents to the leaves with Copic markers. After cutting apart the full sheet I had enough patterned paper to make almost 10 of these two cards. I kept the layouts simple and incorporated only a few other products including a couple border dies and the stitched banner stacklet.
Next up for today, we have a new set of watercolor panels called Inspire. As we dive into a new year I know many of us (myself included!) are intentionally looking for ways to share kindness with others. These inspiring quotes can be sent along to friends or family members or set on your vanity or desk as a daily reminder to smile, to share kindness, and to be YOU because you are beautiful!
Each package of watercolor panels comes with 3 of each of the 4 designs pictured above. Each card is pre-printed on heavyweight watercolor paper and ready for you to add color!
Here are few projects created by our talented designers:
And last, but not least, we have a couple other versatile must-haves for your collection this month:
And this cute project by Jean Manis uses both of them on this sweet baby card:
Last, but certainly not least, I have prizes to give away on the blog this month if you take a minute to answer my Question of the Day series. Each day of sneak peeks, I will post a Question of the Day and you can leave a comment with your answer for a chance to win it before you can buy it!
Today I’m giving away the Bloomin’ Birthday Stamp & Die Combo!
