Good morning, friends! It’s here… the last day of sneak peeks before all of our new products are available for purchase. You can find them all starting tomorrow morning, Thursday, March 9th at 7am PST at the TE webstore. Before then, we’ve got some awesome 3D projects to share with you today as we explore matchbox crafts and home sweet home! There’s also another chance to win it before you can buy it so don’t miss out (you do have to make it to the bottom of the post first, though!).
Just in case you’ve missed it over the last few days, I want to share our March special offer with you one more time. For a limited time, you can earn DOUBLE CRAFTY POINTS when you purchase our Matchbox Die Set! There will be lots of inspiration using the matchbox along today’s blog hop! It’s a tiny little box that packs a big punch and I can’t wait to keep exploring the possibilities in future projects and releases!
If you’re not already a Crafty Points member, it’s free and easy to join. Just create an account at the TE webstore and you’re automatically enrolled to begin earning crafty points with every purchase. You’ll earn 78 Crafty Points on the purchase of the Matchbox Die Set! Offer valid on qualifying purchases made between 9am CST on Thursday, March 9, 2017 and 11:59 pm CST on Sunday, March 12, 2017. There are just so many things you can do with these little matchboxes. They’re great for holding small gifts like the earrings that Melody packaged up, or perhaps a little cash rolled up inside Jean’s adorable matchbox:
In addition to the Matchbox die, we also have a set of stamps and coordinating dies designed to provide you with just what you need to get started with little matchbox crafts. It’s appropriately named Matchy Matchy!
Plus a set of background stamps that will prove to be useful with or without the matchbox die!
I’ve seen matchboxes stacked up to make a set of tiny drawers to hold embellishments and even a little bedtime box for a small felt plushy. And I’m looking forward to creating tooth fairy boxes for my girls to slip under their pillows (stay tuned for a Little Bits – Tooth die!).
I also thought the matchbox would be a fun way for my mom to carry around a little reminder of the girls in her purse. So I created this accordion book to fit inside the matchbox using photos printed from my new Polaroid Zip printed (which I highly recommend!).
In addition to the Matchbox, we’re also showcasing another new 3D product with our Home Sweet Home and Home Sweet Home Accessories die sets. Check out some of the amazing houses that our designers created below. Can’t you just imagine the most fabulous paper village?
Kim completed the look of her adorable house by adding vellum behind the window openings and a battery operated tealight inside!
Gayatri made her home look so realistic with the use of artificial moss and distressed woodgrain paper. So many amazing details here!
And Keia’s house reminds me of a beautiful English cottage with the vine and floral details along the roofline!
There are so many possibilities with this fun house and you’ll find a bunch more inspiration along the hop today as all of our designers have one Matchbox project and one Home Sweet Home project to share! Before you head off to check out all of the goodies, I have one chance to win with my last question of the day for this week.
Today I’m giving away the Matchy Matchy stamp set!
Leave your comment before Wednesday, March 8th at 11:59pm PST. One entry per person. Each comment will also be entered into our Grand Prize drawing for a $50 gift certificate! Winners will be chosen at random and announced on Thursday, March 9th, 2017.
Now go check out the fabulous houses and matchboxes that the design team has to share today! I guarantee you’ll come away inspired (I know I did!).
