Thanks…Times Two!

Hey there, friends! Today we are featuring one of our very favorite types of cards to create — the ‘thank you’ card. These are great cards to have around and really wonderful to send out, well, just because. Whether it’s a loved one or the postal worker who delivers your mail, a teacher or a friend, there is always someone in your life for whom you are grateful. Today, we’ve got two sweet thank you cards from designers Charmaine Ikach and Shelly Mercado that we hope will inspire you to make your own notes of thanks. Check them out…

A Note from Charmaine on her card…

Thank you cards are probably the most needed card in my stash. It seems that every time I need one, I don’t have one on hand and have to make one because I’ve sent them all out!

I used the Sketched Blooms set for this card. I stamped the flowers and then colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I kept the coloring pretty simple. The Toffee piece of cardstock was embossing using the Leafy Vine Embossing Folder.

The sentiment was stamped onto Oreo cardstock in Sugar Cube ink then heat embossing in white. I die-cut the sentiment using the Stitched Circle Stacklets. It’s a pretty simple card, but it really pops with the simple background and vibrant colored flowers! I hope it brings a smile to the recipient’s face!

A Note from Shelly about her card…

I don’t know if you’ve seen Flowers For A Year, but there are so many cute and sweet flowers in this fun stamp set! These images are great, not only for calendars, but also for mini and A2 cards! I wanted to make a CAS thank you card and fell in love with this rose bouquet. It’s just so perfectly small and sweet!

The tiny little butterflies are from Build A Scene – Calendar 2 dies and they are absolutely adorable! A small touch, but it makes a CAS card extra special.
