    I live near Sturgeon Bay, which is part of Lake Michigan. If you go in the morning, about 10am, it’s quiet and peaceful. Spread out your beach towel, sit down and let the calming breezes transport you to another place and time. It really speaks to my soul.

    Not a big soak up the sun person, but I spend alot of the my time in the sun working in my flowerbeds. Trying to keep them looking beautiful is almost a fulltime job, but I love being outdoors. Such pretty bright designs for your summer cards. Love it.

    My favorite place to sunbathe is on St. Pete Beach. Growing up in St. Pete, you could find me there on most weekends. Since moving to Iowa I get back there as often as I can and love watching the sunsets from the Hurricane restaurant roof deck. Beautiful! Since I’m a Floridian cleverly disguised as an Iowan, I love all the beachy stamps and dies. This is a great release!

    This may sound really crazy but my favorite place to soak up the sun is on the rug on my living room floor in the Winter. I love the warmth from the sun in the Winter. It feels so good on my bones. I get a blanket and pillow and I open the shades so the sun shines directly on me while I am under the cover. I feel so warm and wonderful. It is like being in heaven!

    Fun cards!!! Since my husband’s stroke in 2015, we don’t travel anymore. So, sitting on the front porch with my favorite man (hubby) in the afternoon sun is my favorite destination. Can’t beat it….no crowds, bathroom is a few steps away, can get anything to drink and eat whenever we want, and best of all….it’s free!!!!

    I like to soak up the sun when it’s not hot, it doesn’t matter where I am as long as the sun feels good and doesn’t make me sweat. If it is hot I like to be at the beach so the ocean breeze helps to cool off. Can you tell I’m an indoor girl 🙂 that’s where all my crafty stuff is.

    As a Minnesotan, my favorite sunny winter getaway is Fort Myers, FL. I love everything about that area – the beaches, the parks and seeing the Twins play. In the summer I love my home state of Minnesota and everything it offers in warm weather.

    I LOVE this summer beach theme! My favorite place to soak up the rays is Gulf Shores, Alabama! The sand is like sugar, white, soft, and never gets hot! The waters of the gulf are always calm and I can see dolphins all day long!
