Christmas in July — NOEL
Hello again, crafty friends! I hope you have been enjoying our Christmas in July projects as much as I have enjoyed sharing them with you. Today, I’ve got a cutie from designer Charmaine Ikach. It’s so sweet and easy to create, I know you’ll want to make one yourself! Check it out…
Notes from Charmaine…
I just LOVE creating Christmas cards in the summer! Sometimes it just makes those extra hot days just a little cooler! For this card, I pulled out an old favorite of mine, Christmas Doodles. I just LOVE this little snow globe image from the set. The cozy little scene just makes me happy! I started by stamping the snowflakes onto Cherry Pop cardstock in Sugar Cube ink. I used the Noteworthy Belly Band die set to create a focal point for the image.
The image was colored with Copic markers then hand cut and mounted onto the belly band with foam tape. “Noel” was stamped and embossed in Sugar Cube ink onto Oreo cardstock. As a finishing touch, I added some Snow Flurries Sequins to give some holiday sparkle to the card. So the next time those hot days of summer get to you, try creating a Christmas card to cool off!
Thank you, Charmaine, for sharing this darling card for our Christmas in July week! I hope you get into your craft space soon to make some merry yourself – I know I will! Have a joyful day!
