August Sneak Peeks Day 2 – Black Cats & Spiders & Witches, Oh My!
Good morning, crafty friends! It’s time for another day of sneak peeks! Today I have some spooktacular new Little Bits to share along with a gorgeous set of Simply Stamped Pumpkins that can go both frightful and fancy! And now, back to the Halloween goodies! First up on today’s list, I mentioned several new Little Bits dies. Everyone loves a Little Bit and these three are versatile for use in window scenes and with our By the Fireside, Sitting Pretty, and Door to Door scene building collections! Check out a few samples below:

I mentioned how the new Little Bits work well in combination with our Sitting Pretty collection and we have a new Sitting Pretty set filled with Halloween themed accessories. I just love Melody’s card that combines the Sitting Pretty designs with the new Little Bits dies in this fun home decor scene:
Here’s a look at the elements in the Sitting Pretty Halloween Accessories die set. Plus, you might want to add the previously released Bead Board embossing folder and the new Simply Said – Halloween to your wishlist in order to recreate Melody’s fun card.
We’re adding to our popular Skinny Mini border series with a new set of Halloween borders that can dress up just about any scene. Jean used three of them on this cute card featuring the critters from Peek-a-Boo Halloween:
And our new website exclusive item, Ghost Town Border, makes for a super spooky neighborhood scene. I just love how Jean put different colors behind the windows instead of making them all the same. There are three different rectangles included with the border die to make adding the glow to the windows much easier.
Last, but not least, we have my favorite item of this release; Simply Stamped – Pumpkins. Our Simply Stamped series is all about layered stamping to give dimension to your stamped images! We have style sheets available for each of our Simply Stamped sets to show how the images were designed to be layered. Just click on the image below to download and print it off and then keep it with your stamp set to reference when you’re ready to stamp:
So why is this my favorite set? Well, I love that the pumpkins can be used for Thanksgiving, fall, and Halloween cards depending on what you pair with them. Jean’s card below featured our Garden Arbor collection for a beautiful fall card. For her pumpkins, Jean layered our Potato Chip, Candy Corn, and Pumpkin inks.
And Melody stamped faces onto her pumpkins to make them jack-0-lanterns on her Halloween card:
Of course, you don’t want to forget the coordinating dies when you’re adding this set to your wishlist!

One of our Halloween traditions is the giant blow up spider that we put in front of our house each year (if it’s not too windy!). The legs are super long and it’s tall enough so that people can walk under it and up to our steps to ring the bell. I love being “the house with the giant spider”!
