October Sneak Peeks Day 1: Ho Ho Holidays!
Good morning, crafty friends! It’s Taylor here today with a jolly “Ho Ho Ho – Merry Christmas!” We’ve been hard at work over the last several months to bring you a merry mountain of new products to use on this year’s handcrafted Christmas cards! I can hardly wait to introduce today’s featured products, but first, I want to tell you about something new I’m starting with this release. One of the things our product design team loves to do is create collections of products that work together. We’re constantly asking the questions, “What’s missing from my collection?”… “What else do I want to be able to do with this product?”… What additional products could enhance the use of this product?”
Often times, there are so many layers of coordination and infinite possibilities for combination which makes it difficult to get the versatility of these product collections across in written form. Let’s be honest, I’ll be lucky if you actually read through the end of this paragraph before you scroll through the pretty eye candy below! *wink* So, starting this month I’ll be posting a video each day leading up to and on release day to share a collection of products, the thought process behind the designs, and some of my visions for putting them to use.
I have just one more thing before I get started with the sneak peeks! For a limited time, earn DOUBLE CRAFTY POINTS on our Merry Mail 1 and Merry Mail 2 stamp sets!
These sets were designed especially for decorating the envelopes for your Christmas cards. My video on Thursday will feature tips and tricks for quickly adding pizzazz to your envelopes so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, you’ll be seeing lots of decorated envelopes as you hop around to the blogs of our creative team members. If you’re not a Crafty Points member yet, it’s free and easy to join. Just create an account at the TE webstore and you’re automatically enrolled to begin earning crafty points with every purchase.
So now it’s time to strap on your snow boots and walk through our winter wonderland of products! I’ll start today by sharing three of our new products that were designed to work in combination with each other.
Here’s a look at two of the cards I made combining different elements from these products:
I have a video to share with you explaining a bit behind the design process of these products as well as how the elements work together to create so many unique looks. Check it out!
So hopefully you learned that the smallest triangle tree is what ties these three products together as it is the same size in the Block Party border, the smallest of the Christmas Tree Stacklets, and the smallest six stamp designs. Pick and choose among the three products, or grab all three for the most versatility!
Some of our designers have also taken these new products for a spin to create even more unique projects:
That’s not all though! I have another eight new products to show today! Next up, we have three new stamp and die combos. These are always among our most popular products as you get the best of both of our signature products in one package!
Kerri’s adorable snowman card above also using our webstore exclusive product of the month, the Christmas Tree Shaker. Gayatri also used the shaker in combination with the triangle trees from the Spirit of Christmas set in this beautiful card:
You might remember as part of our 9th birthday challenge last month I picked two fabulous gals to join us as guest designers this month and I can’t wait to share their projects with you! Up first, we have this fabulous project by Noriko Fairchild using our new Santa & Friends stamp and die set:
I love the little scene she created for Santa and Rudolph by the fireplace complete with a fabulously decorated tree! You can read more about Noriko’s card and see the reveal of her “lift up” flap on her blog Flourishing Creations. And because one card with this set isn’t enough, here’s another cute one that Jen designed using Rudolph:
This set was designed with the heads and bodies as separate images so that the heads could be placed on a mini wobble spring adding a fun, interactive element to the card. It’s tough to capture in a photo, but totally adorable in person!
Last, but not least, we have a new set of watercolor panels perfect for the holidays! The Jolly Holidays panels are super cute as you can see on these projects by Gayatri and Jen:
Our watercolor panels include 3 each of the 4 designs pictured above pre-printed onto watercolor paper and ready to add color! They make a great gift for a crafty friend or to color up for your own holiday cards!
So that’s it for today! We’ll be back tomorrow with more holiday cheer! In the meantime, leave a comment and tell me your favorite product from today’s sneak peeks for a chance to win one of our new products!
Today I’ll be giving away our webstore exclusive Christmas Tree Shaker!
