Fall Into Fall Week: Pumpkin Spice Makes Everything Nice!
A happy hello, crafty friends! We are just a couple weeks into Fall, and with it comes apple picking, pumpkin pie, turning leaves, and Thanksgiving heading our way next month! I’m thinking about all the blessings in my life — good health, loving family, terrific friends, fabulous co-workers — almost too many to count. It’s a great time of year for reflection and a perfect time to send a card to someone that brings joy to my life. Today, I’ve got a card from Shannon White that combines the bounty of the season and the thankfulness we have for everything that comes with it. Check it out…
Fall has always been my favorite season, and, YES, I do love everything pumpkin spice! I thought I would get started on creating some festive fall cards to send out to friends and family as Thanksgiving approaches. I stamped my Peek-A-Boo Pumpkins with TE’s Matched Premium Ink in Candy Corn, Pumpkin and Sweet Basil — I just love the rich colors and coverage these inks give, too!
I lined up the pumpkins and adhered them with a bit of foam tape onto my fluffy cloud background that I created with the help of TE’s Cloud Border, Sprinkles Ink, and a small stippling brush. Next, I added a TE Build a Scene Grassy Hills die-cut from some patterned paper in my stash before adding a frame cut from Toffee Cardstock that I had stamped with the Woodgrain Background stamp. I used the Lattice Frame Cutting Plate, which was perfect for my outdoor scene.
Thank you, Shannon, for sharing this fab Fall project! Don’t be too quick to move on, friends! Keep scrolling for a BONUS project!
