TGIF, crafty friends! I can’t believe how fast the week has flown by. But you know what they say: time flies when you’re having fun! And I have been having a ton of fun this week sharing projects from our fab new Guest Designers. I wanted to say thank you to both Noriko Fairchld and Valerie Ward for really wowing us with their incredible projects. It has been an honor and a pleasure sharing them with you!

Today, I’ve got a pair of cards from Valerie to share and you’ll be smelling the pine trees before we are through! Check them out…

For her first card, Valerie stamped our Simply Stamped – Christmas Tree in different shades of green ink before following up with heat-embossing with white embossing powder. I just love the simplicity of this card and how she just added a touch of patterned paper in festive colors. With just a few of our Snow Flurries Sequins, she created just about a near-perfect card.

For her second card, I love how Valerie embedded a shaker element into the Twinkling Holiday Embossing Folder-embossed background on watercolor paper. She used our new online exclusive Christmas Tree Shaker die to create the window that encases the pretty sequins. By just coloring in the individual bulbs with watercolor, she crafted a fun and festive card that captures the twinkling lights of the season!
