Staff Selections Day 4: All in the Family
Hello there, Friday friends! Today I’m rounding out our week with Meredith, our faboo Shipping Manager who asked us for some help with ideas for her triplets’ 8th birthday party. Meredith, who also has an older daughter, is a very busy mom, so Kim Singdahlsen is popping by with some terrific tips on how to mass produce party invitations and thank you cards with less grief.
Using our If Balloons Could Talk stamp & die combo, Kim created these bright, happy party invites alongside our Block Party – Party die. The balloons can be customized and mixed & matched. Kim’s first tip is to use images that can be stamped, colored, and die-cut because if you don’t like one of your balloons, you can easily color another balloon rather than re-create an entire card front.
Another terrific tip from Kim is to stamp and cut the balloons and then carry them alongside markers to color whenever there’s a chance. For Meredith, who is constantly on he move, this is a great way to pass the time at the doctor’s office, while grabbing a snack, or while waiting to pick up the kiddos. But maybe my favorite tip is to have the kids color the balloons! It’s a great way to let them feel like they are part of the party, too.
Thanks so much to our wonderful designers for all their ideas this week and to Meredith, for sharing her family with us! Don’t forget that next week is RELEASE WEEK and it’s going to be fabulous! Have a creative and joyful weekend!
