Hey there, crafty friends! Hope you’re all having a great week! Guess what? It’s almost Friday! *grin* I’ve been playing around in my studio lately and I’m so excited to share these cute treat boxes I made using our Sack It collection of characters. Our original Sack It To You die creates the perfect favor box or gift sack and can be decorated to resemble many different critters, characters, or even a castle using the die sets in our Sack It collection.

You know I love versatility so my wheels have been turning to see how I could use these Sack It dies that were originally designed to be used on the sack and turn them into a cute treat box complete with candy in the belly! My first step was to find the perfect clear box to hold treats and I have good news! You can skip this step because I already found them and you can pick them up right here in the TE webstore.

So after you have your clear boxes, you’ll start by creating a wrap for the box. You’ll need a piece of cardstock cut to 3″ x 8.5″. Score at 2″, 4 1/16″, 6 1/8″, 8 1/8″. This will create the wrap for around the box. Before adhering the wrap around the box, use the second smallest die in the Stitched Oval Stacklets set to cut an opening into the wrap. Adhere the wrap to the box using Sticky Tape and then you’re ready to decorate!

There’s one thing that each of these treat boxes have in common and that’s the die used for the head. Each of the heads is actually the “belly” included in the Sack It Chick die set. From there, I’ve listed below the different dies used on each of these characters so you can check your collection for what you might already have!

Unicorn: Sack It Chick (head), Sack It Owl (eyes/wings), Bloomers 6 (flowers), Sack It Fox (horn)

Chick: Sack It Chick

Bunny: Sack It Chick (head, eyes), Sack It Bunny

Owl: Sack It Chick (head, feather tuft), Sack It Owl

Frog: Sack It Chick (head), Sack It Frog

Pig: Sack It Chick (head, eyes), circle punch (nose), Sack It Pig
