So true, you can never have to many flowers. Waiting with anticipation for the first blooms. The teacher who left the greatest impression was Mrs. Gregory, a woman who understood that women have a lot to give and the strength to be what ever they desire, and still be what God created them to be, woman. But also knew that it is a tough world. She instilled a sense of independence in the girls in her class.

  • karen bull

My favorite teacher was Mr. Smith in middle school. He taught social studies. He was very creative and kept us engaged. We actually built a hut from chicken wire and straw in the classroom.

  • Mary

My most memorable teacher was an English teacher of mine, Mrs. Richter-she is the one who made me want to be a teacher! I loved the connection she had with students and her fun sense of humor, which made being in class so much fun!

  • Michel Espey

The teacher that made the most impact in my life was Mrs. Gvillo. She was my French teacher and Sr. advisor. She was a great teacher.

  • karenladd

My most memorable teacher was my junior high algebra teacher, Mr. Arioso. I was always terrible in math, and algebra drove me crazy. Mr. Arioso was so patient and kind, and took the time to approach the subject in different ways in order to make it clearer to his students. I never did get proficient in math, but he gave me to the confidence to keep at it!

  • Chris L

I just love the Cutting Edge Stamps and dies–such cool cards! The high school teacher that had the biggest impact on my life was my Algebra 2/Calculus teacher–he inspired me to go on and become a math major!

  • Rebecca Ednie

The most amazing teacher who impacted my life in the biggest way it was actually not even my teacher. My two youngest children both had the same kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Mailer. She is the most compassionate loving funny adorable person I have ever met whose favourite colour is rainbow. Is that not the most perfect answer for a kindergarten teacher? She has helped my children, who are both special needs, truly grow and thrive and I will be forever grateful.

  • Ruth Dupchen

My favorite teacher was Dr. Thomas in college because I always disliked history and he made ancient history so interesting. I just wanted to learn as much as I could.

  • Sharon D.

Loving this release! Thanks for the flowers & bright colors! Miss Anderson is a teacher that comes to my mind. She was my home room teacher throughout high school & I also had her for several classes. She was kind, encouraging & became a friend as well.

  • Stampfoldandrepeat (Jeanie)

The sentiments in choosy mom are awesome! I laughed so much when I read them.
The teacher who I remember most is Mr. Barriou in grade 3. He made learning fun!

  • Jennifer Petersen

Mrs. D my 5th grade teacher. She saw me when I felt so many others didn’t. She would take the time to talk to us and remember what was going on in our lives not just in school. She was also a great teacher with lots of hands on type of projects.

  • Vivian C.

Miss Campbell, my seventh grade math teacher. She was a little white haired lady, who wore a glove to write on the chalkboard. She didn’t take any guff or unruliness. I loved math and learned a lot in her class.

  • Jennifer

My first grade teacher , Mrs. Coleman.. she was always so nice and made you want to do the right thing. I have run into her a few times as an adult and still call her Mrs. Coleman!!! 🙂

  • Carol

i have 2, I grew up in a small community . . . my first grade teacher was a family friend; she taught me to always set a good example, and then my 5th grade reading teacher was my Great Aunt Velma; she inspired me to be inclusive, kind and accepting of everyone.

  • Shirlee C.

Mrs. Pumphrey has made more of an impact on me than any of the teachers I had. You see, she’s a teacher but not MY teacher. She’s my friend and she teaches first graders. She puts so much time and attention to details into each of her students. She could tell you anything you may want to know about any single one of them at any time. She doesn’t use names, of course, but she treats each one like they were her own. I’ve learned so much just from listening to her and watching her. I can see how much she truly cares about each little person she teaches. She knows if they’ve had bad nights or are having bad days and tries to cheer them up or take their minds off their troubles and she really listens to them. Like you would a grown up, you know? All the things she prepares for her students to use in class is made with such care and is done just right. I just love her and wish I’d have had a special teacher like her in my formative years!

  • Beverly Perdue

Wow! I love all the cards and the cutting edge is cutting edge! My favorite teacher was my business teacher in high school. She was an inspiration for me and I have been an executive assistant for 40 years.

  • Susan Weida

I actually have 2 favorite teachers. Miss Brown in 3rd grade. She was a very kind lady who was always there if you needed extra help of didn’t understand something. Finally my high school German teacher Mr. Berkmann. I had made an Apple Kukchen for one of our Culture Days and he continuously encouraged my cooking skills. I wish I had taken his advice and went to cooking school and studied to be a pastry chef. I’m so excited about the new Grad stamps and dies as I have a senior this year and will be needing them.

  • Laura P

Mrs. Fernandez 3rd grade- she made everyone feel special!

  • Heidi H

Mrs. Koeppe, who had a reading competition in 2nd grade, and I read all the biggest books I could find… Little House on the Prairie, etc. And at the end, she gave me a lovely little book with a house on the front (I have no idea what it was about), but the best part was that she wrote an inscription on the inside of the cover that told me how proud she was of the effort I put into reading.

  • Mary-Anne V

What fun products and great cards. My favourite teacher was Mrs Ray in Grade 8. She encouraged me to continue to strive for excellence even when I felt that getting good grades made me stand out and be unpopular.

  • Barbara

The more I think about this the harder it is. I am thinking of teachers who really impacted my life. Not sure that I have a favorite. I’ll go with Mrs. Templemeyer, my 6th grade teacher. She was so kind. And, she had a Spirograph that I loved! New wish list item- the hole punch cutting plate!

  • Michelle L. Woodrum

My favorite teacher was in 3rd grade, Mrs. Jennings. She was so fancy and wore high heels and made us all feel special. That year my father was in a horrible accicendt and is paralyzed from waists down. Anyway it’s amazing how God puts people in your life when you need them the most.

  • Jean Marmo

I still remember Mrs. Taylor from 6th grade. She was partially blind and we all fought over who waas going to walk her around the playground.

  • ErikaS

My favorite teacher was Mrs. Panko. I remember she has a real tepee in our classroom when we studied American Indians.

  • linda s

haha!! love the grumpling, they always make me laugh. my high school english teacher, mrs. pettit, repeatedly emphasized the importance of being concise; i still proofread with that in mind, as i’ve edited this post several times. lol.

  • María Alba Negrón

My favorite teacher was Miss. García. She instilled in every pupil the love for reading, made every class very interesting and laugh at our silliness and being our Spanish teacher taught us to love Don Quijote fervently and with great reverence!
I lost contact with her and would love to see her again, that’s how much I loved her and to this day I am an avid reader, so much so that if I know I am falling short on books to read, I swear to you I get book withdrawals!

  • Linda Carson

Mrs. Young, my Home Economics teacher taught me more than just book smarts!

  • Kirsty Vittetoe

Love this beautiful release, everything look so fun!
My favorite teacher that has an impact on me is the history teacher Mr. Lee! Well, I am kind of a teacher’s pet, LOL!

  • Barb Tennigkeit

I don’t remember the name of this teacher but she had a huge impact on my life and how I see myself. She was the one teacher who saw my potential and fought to promote my education.

  • Charlotte Deerborn

Miss Davis was my 3rd-grade teacher and the sweetest person. After 2 years of teachers not being so great I was fortunate to be in her room. She was the first teacher that really got me. The encouragement she gave me made me feel like I could accomplish anything.

  • Dana M

What a fun and fabulous product release! Mrs. Sawyer was my first grade teacher and she shared stories of her travels and teaching in Japan. We had multiple lessons about Japan; writing, culture, food, etc. Still stays with me.

  • Chris DuBois

I have several. One was my first grade teacher. She was Miss Pace. I think it was her first teaching assignment and was really neat, but I called her Miss Paste. How embarrassing for a first grader! The second was Mrs. Nellems. I moved to a new school district, I was unhappy about it, and she was really patient with my crying spells. The next was my fifth grade teacher Mrs. Quinn. She was so kind & refined – such a role model.

  • Teresa Mikalouski

Mrs. Cartwright she was like the Grandma I never had.

  • Cindy G

I was fortunate to have many good teachers, and all had an influence on me. It is hard to single out just one. A high school teacher, Mrs. Beckman is remembered for sparking my interest in accounting.

  • Noreen

I love the multi colored stars! My 7th grade math teacher, Miss Brown, is one I remember most – not anything in particular, she was just a neat teacher.

  • Kathy J in Ellicott City

My fifth grade teachers made a big impact on me. They taught me that women could do anything and I went on to get a degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Oreety

Mrs. Graca was my English Composition teacher in college. Despite the fact that I was majoring in Molecular Biology and minoring in Math, she continously urged me and pleaded with me to pursue a writing career. She was always supportive, brilliant and tough in a way that allowed me to push my boundaries. She is the reason I pursued Creative Writing thereafter and some of my poetry was published…that would have never happened without her encouragement!

  • karenajo

Great new products and love the inspiration in all the projects ! My favorite teacher was an Indian with beautiful, black hair who taught me in fifth grade. She laughed a lot and it was contagious! She made learning very fun !

  • Marisela Delgado

I had many great teachers, but Mr. Legg was like a father to me. I could always talk to him and he would listen. As I grew up, we became friends.

  • Anne Sturgeon

Love the flower set!! My favorite teacher was Mrs. Sheridan in third grade. She had two sons in college and always wanted a girl. I even got to spend a week at her house during summer break. She always was kind and very fussy about your cursive handwriting. I loved that and I still am reminded of her when I hand write a letter. Today’s sneaks are wonderful, can’t wait for tomorrow….

  • Iris Esther López

I don’t remember an outstanding teacher while I was studying but I do remember my daughter’s second grade teacher. My daughter had asthma and was hospitalized several times. Mrs. Net always sent her all the materials so she could keep up but never pressed her. She was very loving and even made a giant card that all the children signed and sent it to her. My daughter passed to third grade all thanks to her help.

  • Gilda

Great release today. Love the Stars and Balloons. II went back to college at an advanced age to finish what I had started years before. I had an anthropology teacher who was so supportive and inspiring. She even encouraged me to go for a Masters degree. Her support helped me a lot later in my working life.

  • LizD

Mrs. Mahr my High School Home Ec teacher. She is still a great friend who I now call Carol. She helped me through some rough times my junior year when alot of people didn’t believe that my husband and I could make it as parents. Yes I married young but she believed in us and I will never forget after almost 40 years of married life to that same man. Thanks for memories of thinking of her. Great release.

  • Tamara

I have to begrudgingly say, Mrs. Stubbs was my most influential teacher, but not my favorite! She taught H/S accounting classes that made college easy and set up for a career that changed my life…

  • Eva Wierzbinski

Mrs. Klos was my first and second grade teacher. She was so nice and really took an interest in her students. I moved away in 6th grade but I kept in touch with Mrs. Klos for years after by writing letters (remember those days?). She always appreciated my letters and always wrote back.

  • LC Lamothe

More fabulousness again today! I love your fun sentiments. They make me laugh and put a huge smile on my face 🙂 I was fortunate to have had many awesome teachers along the way. Each one impacting me in different ways. I am grateful to all of them for their kindness, patience and hard work. They are all rock stars in my mind!

  • Janet Sisk

Mrs. Bacon was my 11th grade English teacher. I was a bit shy and she encouraged me in my dreams. One dream I had was to run for student council, but I had to make a speech in front of the WHOLE school which had about 1600 students. She helped me with my speech and my confidence. I didn’t win the election, but I proved to myself that I could do it. It made a major impact on my life. 😀 Thanks for a chance to win.

  • Dee Earnshaw

    sweet inspiration –
Mrs Doherty was my first teacher – she was nearing retirement and had no time for children and their noise. Worst teacher ever!!! When you have had the most awful teacher, then all other teacher are WONDERFUL lol!!!

  • Denise Bryant

I agree! Never too many flowers! Awesome cards featuring the new products!
Favorite teacher was actually my daughter’s 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Grant! She was so encouraging to my daughter and was a big influence on her!

  • Mary Faith

What an awesome release! I love the puns for Mom and Teachers. But more importantly I love the new cutting edge dies and stencils! TFS all of those beautiful card examples! Too cute!!!

  • LeaAnn

What a wonderful release! And such amazing cards made by everyone!
My favorite teacher that made the biggest impact on me was Mrs. Poffenberg. She was my Home Ec teacher for Jr High and High School. She was strict with a kindness that made me not want to disappoint her! There are lots of things I still do in my day to day living that came from this wonderfully knowledgeable lady!

  • Laurie Brown

Mr Girard was my 8th grade teacher. Super nice and he taught us all to play chess. We had a tournament and learned about strategy and good sportsmanship!!!

  • Joan

Mr. Ron Holscher,my choir/music teacher. I wrote him a thank u one time for all he had inspired in me & he responded that in all he s 30+years of teaching, only 3 people had ever thanked him. How sad!! He influenced so many young lives yet no one ever bothered to turn around & tell him so.

  • Sue D

Dr. Miller in college had the biggest impact on my life.

  • Carrie W

Ms. Rowley was my English teacher my freshman year of high school. I could say wonderful things about her class, the subjects and how she taught. But it was the realationships she developed that were the highlight of having her as a teacher. That was a tough year for me, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She never let that fact define me. She was always there for me both academically and personally. In her classroom, I was allowed to be just a student, not a sick student, and that meant the world to me. She is one of the reasons I am a teacher today. I hope my students can feel the love and hope I have for them as I felt with Ms. Rowley.

I ❤️ this release… and I think I’ll have to make Ms. Rowley a special card! Thanks for reminding me what a special person she was and is.

  • Jessica Bavier

The teacher that inspired me the most, was my high school art teacher, Mr. Bill. He helped bring out my true potential with art and inspired me to pursue a degree in fine art and had a part in my now freelance art career.

  • Amy Cooley

My first grade teacher really saw my potential and strengths and encouraged me in those things.

  • Daria Zender

My first Spanish teacher, Mr. Gringrich. He had loads of stories to tell that really brought the language to life for me. It was never a chore learning in his classroom.

  • Tammy Arndt

My high school art teacher Mr. Borneman impacted my life the most. He was so kind and patient, my favorite classes were pottery and jewelry making, I never wanted the hour to end! Awesome new release and beautiful samples!

  • Julia D.

What great new sets! And I love what the designers did with them – beautiful work!

The teacher who impacted me the most was Mr. Kern, my high school drama and speech teacher. Being in drama and music was really my first experience of really succeeding at something and Mr. Kern was there to guide me through it. He directed the school plays and musicals as well as taught speech classes. I loved him so much as a director I took his speech class even though I wasn’t that interested in it. He gave me really positive feedback in class and also let me do things the way that worked best for me. I loved my high school experience largely because of him!

Thank you for the chance to win!!

  • Brandi R

Amazing release! Really love all the snarky sentiments here.

It’s funny, I can picture several teachers that impacted my life growing up, but their names escape me. The one I remember the most vividly with name, I REALLY disliked her in school. She was old and mean….but she was an excellent teacher (not that any of us appreciated that while in school). Mrs. Weathers taught English. As boring a class as that can be (and was) she was able to teach many aspects in a way that made it a little more fun (not the class, but the actual work…lol). At the time, a kid just doesn’t appreciate those hard and mean teachers (she probably wasn’t really mean, but to a kid her hard style definitely comes across as mean) that actually take the time to make sure you walk out having actually learned and absorbed the content. It wasn’t until late high school and into college that I realized how wonderful of a teacher she was. I don’t know that I would have survived some of my later classes had it not been for her and her ruthless style of teaching.

  • Mutzy Mia

My favorite teacher was Mr. Arendondo. He was my 7th grade math teacher. I initially really struggled in that class. He had an accent that made it hard to understand his explanations but I hung in there and went after school many times for extra help. About half way through the year “I got it” and was now more comfortable with his accent so could understand! He developed my love of math and I ended up minoring in math in college.

  • Becca Yahrling

Such darling cards and so many cute sets!
Ms. Pisano was my favorite teacher in high school.
She was always so positive and happy and always
encouraging to me, to everyone. And I truly think
that turned my life around and made me who I
    am today.

  • Arianna Barbara

My high school Italian literature teacher, Mrs. Gina Spanò. She is still my dear friend. When I’m sad or I have got some doubts she’s always ready to listen to me and give me good advices.

  • Judie Pouliot

Sr. Patricia Francis was my first grade teacher. We had 52 children in our class ( can you imagine? ) i had an outgoing personality and she liked me a lot. One day she had us draw a picture of her. I stayed in touch with her through my life and many years later she told me that after 50 years of teaching that I was the only child that drew a mole on her face. She said that as soon as she saw that she knew that I paid attention to detail and was very artistically inclined. It sure made me feel good when she said that to me. I always smile when I think of her. She was right about what she said about me too!❤️

  • Karen

I always struggled with math, until Mrs. Lowe, my ninth grade algebra teacher. She had such a knack of explaining the steps in solving a problem. Because of the extra special care she took in ensuring that all of her students understood problem solving, I felt that I could take on any equation or problem!

I love the products from this release! And I agree, one can never have too many flowers!

  • Mikel Adkins

My high school Trig/Calculus teacher, Mrs. Cross, encouraged me to be tenacious in my pursuit of solutions. She was also my homeroom teacher in my Senior year. That year she presented me with a gigantic pink eraser (the Tenacity Award!)because I would not give up in pursuit of a solution to a problem. I will never forget her lessons. I reconnected with her last year on Facebook and I’m really enjoying our relationship as friends now. She is a quilter and really appreciates hand-crafted work.

  • Niki J.

The teacher who inspired me the most was my high school wood shop teacher – I was the first girl to ever take shop at our school back in the day. He wasn’t convinced I was serious about learning until I signed up for the second year and then he treated me just like the guys and taught me quite a lot about wood working and perseverance! Great man.
I love this release with the partial cut out edge dies for these images…great idea!

  • Mary

Sister Mary Teresa was my favorite teacher. She was very kind and was an awesome teacher. I love the cutting Edge flower set and the Teacher Grumpling. So cute! Smile BIG! 🙂

    Mary from NH

  • Juanita

My favorite teacher that had the most impact on my life, was my Advanced Art Teacher, Mrs. Lopez.
She encouraged all her students to try a variety of various art projects, always encouraging you to do your best each and every time. She was very strict and a lot of my friends didn’t like her at all. I simply adorned her, I even invited her to my wedding and she embroidered us a beautiful set of pillowcases and she was invited to the class reunions were have had every 5 years. She always remembers me and we have been known to chat for hours…thank you Mrs. Lopez for the encouragement you gave me and the chance to try new things you were quite an inspiration to me and I gave that inspiration to my 3 children.

  • SueinMtVernon

I had many wonderful teachers, but Miss Seeger made the most impact on me when I was in third grade. Oh, she seemed SO old, but was probably in her 30’s or 40’s. She taught the class how to play the recorder and perform in front of the entire school. Miss Seeger was just a classy lady and I loved her.

  • Ann LaPerre

Always behave like a lady, that is what my home ec teacher, Mrs Le Clare stressed. Your question made me stop and think about teachers, some good some not so good. Some funny memories. Thanks.

  • michelle sullivan

Loving this release! The teacher I remember most was my 6th grade teacher, Mr. Reilly. He also had my sister ,4 yes prior…he would meet with each student weekly to discuss their overall progress, things that we needed to work on. We would sit at a table with him go over things, he’d give us our packet with a written progress note and grade. The packet we took home to give our parents. He is retired now. My sister and I even went to his retirement party. To this day we keep in touch and meet for coffee a few times a yr. He volunteers at the city schools with literacy.

  • Louise W.

My favorite was my high school art teacher, Mrs. Burwell. She inspired me to become a graphic designer with her commercial art class. I took every art class that school offered and she taught most of them. I lost touch with her after HS, but was thrilled to see her again at my sister’s 40th HS reunion in 2016. My sister secretly sought her out and invited her just for me. I was so surprised and cried when I hugged her! It was a special night for both of us! We’ve kept in touch since and I made her a set of TE “Big Bloom” notecards for Christmas this past year. She loved them!

  • Cheri Nugent

Miss Welch, my kindergarten teacher. I always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher and I believe she was my inspiration. When she retired, they had one child from every year she taught represented at her retirement party. I was the one selected from my year in kindergarten. And I was a kindergarten teacher for many years!

  • Terri (Blindstamper)

My fifth grade teacher, Mrs. McDermott. She made learning fun.

  • Deb W.

Mrs. Swumala, my fourth grade teacher, inspired me to begin thinking that art was not only fun but could be educational. As I got older I considered a career in teaching art, I took college courses in teaching and was able to get an internship in the very elementary school I attended. It was an awesome experience. I will always treasure her encouragement and dedication to provide creative and fun art projects for her classes. Thank you for keeping mw wowed with all the new products, can’t wait for them to be available.

  • Gloria Niepoky

My kindergarten teacher Miss Chalmers comes to mind as an influence on me. When you are 5 years old, it is so important to have a calming, kind, and happy person looking after you when you are away from your mother for the first time.

  • Sandie Obrin

Dr. Ed Peterlin was the biggest inspiration to me. None of my K-12 teachers really stand out, but Dr. Peterlin helped guide me in obtaining my 4-year degree in accounting from the university. To this day, I still think of him and thank him for his wonderful guidance.

  • Sherry

When I think back to my teachers its always my Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Batzer, I remember most fondly. She could bring me out of my shyness. I remember her as very kind and patient and I adored her. My mom would braid my hair just like Mrs. Batzer’s hair! Love all the teacher items in this release. I’ve made teacher thank you cards for my grand kids and struggle to come up with ideas.

  • Shelley Banghart

My 8th grade science teacher. She would call my mom if I didn’t do well on a test. She knew I hadn’t studied enough. Best lesson in accountability.

  • Martha Acord

The one teacher who had the biggest impact on me was my high school biology teacher, Mr. McGrane. I constantly challenged me to learn more and do better. Even thought my life took me to the world of banking, I have never forgotten the encouragement I received from him.

  • sharla~

my 6th grade teacher Mrs. Wright. I wouldn’t say the impact was a good one, I would come home almost daily crying because she was mean. 🙁 I did end up later between my jr and sr year going on a European trip where she was a chaperone and we got along great!

    Very cute release!

  • Phyllis Freese

My favorite teacher was Miss Olson, who introduced me to creative writing and helped me bring my writing skills to a new level. I planned to become an English teacher and hoped to be an inspiration to others. Although I ended up as a school librarian, the skills she taught me served me well in life.

  • Evelyn

Funny thing is, the teacher I remember most had a negative impact on my life! her name was Miss Cykel, she was my 3rd grade teacher and she scared me to death, and in fact everyone was afraid of her. I don’t remember anything other than the fact that she yelled a lot.

  • annheidel

My 11th grade English teacher, Irene Nicastro, is one that comes to mind. She was very encouraging and I still have two assignments with her personal notes on them. Love the Cutting Edge series! Really cool concept.

  • Susan Lang

Mrs. Walters, my third grade teacher. She was like no other teacher we knew. My father built a flower box for our class room and on PTA night, he would take touch up paint and brush to keep it looking like new. The best year of school in my life and I learned so much from her. Bless her. This is a great new release, so many things to add to my wish list.
