Stencil Showcase: Storage
Hello hello! It’s a new day and the sun is still shining so hooray for that! Yesterday I kicked off our Stencil Showcase in addition to participating in the Spring Mega Sponsor Blog Hop. If you missed yesterday’s post, scroll down just a bit to see how you could win one of 18 fabulous prizes from one of 18 different paper craft manufacturers!
As you may know, we recently launched six beautiful designs in our new collection of stencils. In order to achieve my goal of keeping my craft supplies organized, I’ve been considering several options for stencil storage and I’m excited to share what I’ve been using! One of my pre-requisites for storage (especially for brand new products) is to have them visible! For me, supplies that aren’t visible just don’t get used. I’ve had one of these Frame Your Imagination stands sitting on my desk framing a piece of art that I created YEARS ago and then it hit me. I can use this stand to store my stencils!
I added pieces of scrap cardstock (because I didn’t want to use my good stuff!) as a backer inside each clear sleeve for added sturdiness and so that I can store one stencil on each side of the cardstock. With one package of 10 page protectors, you can store 20 6″ x 6″ stencils with a total cost under $20! I still need to paint my stand to match my decor and then I’ll have both a pretty and functional storage solution to adorn my desk!
Our Frame Your Imagination Stand was originally designed with other purposes in mind so perhaps you’d like to pick up an extra to frame artwork, photos, or a 6×6 calendar (created using our 6×6 calendar download).
