My favorite summer road trip destination is the beach – for short trips. For a longer trip – I love going to Colorado and enjoying the mountains and the trees and fresh air and all the sights we see on the way. 🙂

  • Andrea Borries

I think my favorite road trip destination would have to be “Up North.” When I was growing up, every summer my family loaded up the car (and boat – we had a lot of stuff!), drove to a lake resort in Northern Minnesota and rented a cabin for a week. It was usually a different resort every year, but it was always so much fun.

  • Brian Poteraj

My favorite place is Big Bear. It is close by and pretty. And has a little zoo

  • Denise L

My favorite road trip is visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Maryland and driving to their new cabin in the mountains. It’s like a piece of heaven with all the land the own for us to ride quads, archery, have camps fires and see deer when we wake up.

  • Diana Wilson

Camping in a camper at Cuttys. Peaceful.

  • Cheryl J Holmes

Camping in a trailer would be great. I want to go on a Road Trip! Goal: Pacific Coast Highway! Leisurely! We did 3100 miles in 10 days with 10 (ages 3 to 70) in a van a couple of years ago.

  • Emily Henry

Our favorite road trip is to visit my cousin who lives in Maryland, just outside of Washington DC. It is so close to Arlington, Mt. Vernon, Annapolis and downtown DC. We are never at a loss to be awed by the grandeur and the history. I guess as we age we appreciate it even more. We are reminded of our trips there with the kids as they were growing up. We took our camper everywhere with them and they still remember it all-even the evening campfires with S’mores and singing!

  • Sharyn Budek

I think my favorite road trip would be to visit my grandchildren. It’s been waay to long since I’ve gotten to “hug” their necks. Need ……S’more!!!!

  • Laura Holt

I’m not a traveler, except to go to see my grandchildren on the other side of PA …….. so I guess Dallas, PA, is my favorite destination!

    Love the new stamps!

  • Vicki P

Oh wow smores is some yummy gooey goodness for sure! 🙂 Fall is my favorite time of year and every Fall is our local “scenic drive” festival for long stretches of miles where people have tents in towns, buildings, their own homes, etc etc etc to sell many things like arts and crafts, antiques, collectibles, flowers, food and more! The weather is nice and cool, the food is yummy and the scenic route is just fun! I love to pick out my pumpkins during this time as well and take a trip about an hour away to Tanner’s Apple Orchid to pick apples from the trees and other yummy goodies! 🙂

  • Donna Schnees

Our favorite road trip is when we rode our CanAm Spyder to Québec, Canada for their homecoming. The mountains are gorgeous, the roads are winding, the scenery was just breathtaking and the mountain we had to go over was an awesome ride. Camping in the mountains is a must and so are s’mores!

  • Debbie J

My favorite road trip is along the gulf coast of Florida! I love the white sands along the northern edge.

That s’mores set is sooo amazing! What a great gift idea for anyone in our lives! My favorite road trip adventures is driving to Tampa to see my parents!! It’s a 5 hour drive which isn’t to far, but with 2 young boys, it feels like a 10 hour trip ????

  • Bethany

I love the smores set!! It is so cute! I have been on so many road trips that it is hard to pick just one favorite destination. Alaska is my favorite, with glacier national park, Yosemite, or Olympic national park as a close second.

  • Rachel Duong

Cle Elum Washington – a small town with a cabin surrounded by rivers lakes and streams. Blue skies and four seasons!

  • Syd

My husband and I sold our home after our kids all moved out and we thought we would try living in our motorhome for a little while.
Well one year turned into seven!
We traveled throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.
I became a Camp Host for a few years and had lots of smores!
The set brings back memories as we saw the Grand Canyon, the Petrified Forest, petroglyphs and so much more.

  • Linda Hedfelt

My favorite destination is not very far away, maybe 2 1/2 hours towards the coastline of Texas…but it is to visit my grandchildren…and that is worth the trip no matter how far away!!! Thanks for the chance to win…such a cute idea!

  • Debbie Mageed

My RA really prevents road trips now but when my children were 6 and 3 years old, my husband and I planned a road trip to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It was a long trip with 2 young children so we decided to make the journey part of the vacation, finding fun stops along the way and spending the night. We had the best time on the JOURNEY to Cape Cod, then made more great memories once we arrived. Loved this vacation!

  • Denise Hohrman

My favorite road trip is to Lake Superior in Northern Minnesota! My husband and I go for a long weekend every couple of months. When I see that beautiful expanse of water, all my cares just float away and I can truly relax. AND, I always have a stamping project packed! I have even stamped out on the rocks while listening to the waves.

  • Karen Hallam

Adorable! One of my favorite road trips is up the highway to Lake Tahoe. It’s about 2 hours away, up out of the valley heat, beautiful scenery and nice campgrounds.

  • Liz Hawley

Anywhere that we can go as a family. Can be a short trip or a long trip but love it when everyone can get together and make memories.

  • Cynthia Pryor

We have an RV and live in North Texas. When it’s so hot in summer, nothing is better than packing up and heading to the beach or a lake somewhere. We’ve been to Lake of the Ozarks, Gulf Shores, AL, and this year we’re headed to Port Aransas, TX. Anywhere to escape the heat. We have cooked on an open fire in the spring and love to have smores! Cute set of stamps! Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Christine Cox

McClain State Park near Calumet, MI. It is my favorite place to camp, and where my husband proposed to me 27 years ago. The campground is right on Lake Superior, and the sunsets are amazing. Love it there.

  • Beth KS

I love driving out to the Black Hills of South Dakota. That’s where my husband and I honeymooned (we celebrated 25 years on July 10!). We returned there with our kids when they were in middle school. Both are in college now. Probably time to go again 🙂

  • Marisela Delgado

My favorite road trip was going to Mexico to visit our family. Yum, good food! REAL Mexican food. =) And the Coca-Cola is better because they use real sugar cane to sweeten their sodas. YUMMM!!

  • Rebecca Ednie

We went on a road trip once to Ocean City New Jersey. It has the most beautiful boardwalk and it’s an entire town with no chain or big box stores. We had such an amazing time trying out all the restaurants and browsing through the little shops. It was a really really fun trip.

  • KT Fit Kitty

Very, very cute! My favorite roadtrip destination is more of a daytrip destination. It’s about 2 hrs from here, a small town by the ocean and so picturesque – Digby, NS. I hope we can go again this summer!

  • Janet Sisk

My favorite road trip EVER was when my hubby and I went to Yellowstone for our 20th anniversary. We stayed in a B & B right on the river. We were at the north entrance of the park so on day 1 we drove all morning all the way down to the Grand Tetons for the day. And then after that each day we would go down just above the location of the day before. By the last day we were doing all the things that were close to the north entrance. That way we were not so exhausted for our trip home. Oh and if you do it you HAVE TO get up super early (like 4:30am) and get out to the park because that is when you see all the wildlife up close and personal. We would have to sit in the road and wait for the Bison/elk to move off to the side. By the time midday arrived you hardly saw an animal unless it was WAY OFF the road. Anyway it was so incredible to see mountains, geysers, waterfalls, animals and more all in the same park. The different landscapes was amazing. And my second best roadtrip was to the 5 National Parks in Southern Utah – Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon and Zion. We did them all in one week with a day in each park, but 2 days in Arches and Zion. LOVED that trip, too. Anyway, thanks for a chance to win such a great prize!!! 😀

  • Sobia

Branson, Mo is a fun road trip!

  • Angie VC

We have not been road tripping much as the kids have gotten to be teenagers…after reading all these comments, I think I need a camping trip! Maybe Wisconsin for some canoeing?!?!

  • Anne Sturgeon

We have put on thousands of miles on our Harley for about 25 years. Each trip more special and we loved being out in the open air. We recently traveled to South Dakota to Mt. Rushmore in our car. It was so beautiful as was the road trip. Those s’mores kits are adorable. My granddaughters just camped with us and they adored their s’mores .

  • Cynthia Cole

My favorite road trip is to Pennsylvania to see one of my brothers. Start off the trip on flat open land and end up in the mountains. The surrounding area in his neighborhood is breathtaking. Thanks for the chance to win this fabulous prize. Love the name of the stamp and die combo, Ooey Gooey!

  • Diane Beard

My favorite road trip….that was not a hard question as I love packing the car and heading “Up North” to our cabin in central Minnesota. We are 75 feet from the lake, where we can fish, swim, make s’mores and RELAX. I even take enough of my craft supplies to make cards. It is also on the same lake that I grew up on. Couldn’t get any better than that!

  • Shelly M

We just returned from Nathrop CO and our family enjoyed it there so much! It is in the Rocky Mountains near hot Springs, rafting, fly fishing, hiking, biking, etc. We loved the change in landscape from Iowa. We drove so it was nice to have our whole family together in the car for a while. Lives become so busy as families grow up so I cherish these moments together.

  • Deb W.

I still love making the road trip to relatives in Wisconsin. As a kid I thought that it was at the edge of the world and took such a long time to get there, but now I see it was only 5 hours. We enjoy sitting around the small pool at my Aunt’s home, it is only 4 feet deep, she doesn’t swim, but still it’s fun to play water volleyball. In the evening the s’mores come out at the fire pit, so the s’mores stamp brings warm and happy memories.

  • Liz H

Lake Quinalt, in WA state. Every time I visit my brother in Seattle, I rent a car, and take a ferry over the Puget Sound, and then drive & stay at the Lodge on Lake Quinalt, on the Olympic peninsula. Gorgeous lake in the middle of a rain forest. The 1926 lodge is perfect with huge stone fireplace, and a terrace that overlooks the lake. They even have hiking trails. YES !!! the place to go to relax. Leave the Cell phone turned off, as there is only WiFi in the lobby.

I used to fly down to Sanibel Island, FL every year when I was in my twenties to meet up with my parents, stay a few days, and then help my dad with the 12 hour drive back to Atlanta. That’s my favorite road trip full of old memories and new adventures!!!!
