Sending Joy With Jill & Melody!
Hey, crafty friends! When you make cards, do you like something more elegant or more whimsical and fun? Or maybe something in between? I really love a little bit of whimsy and fun when I create cards to send out. It’s fun to create with something that makes me smile!
Speaking of something that makes me smile…

(Can you just even with that flossing soup can???)
Let’s get onto the inspiration that I have to share to you today from Jill Hawkins and Melody Rupple!
How fun is this ensemble of animals holding fun greetings and sentiments on signs? Jill used the Give me a Sign stamp set and colored the cute critters with Copic markers. There are a whole bunch of great sentiment options in the set making it so versatile for many occasions.
Jill used the same layout on each card design and that make creating multiples a breeze. She added strips of color on each card which adds a great pop of color and is a wonderful way to use up your cardstock scraps at the same time. One detail Jill did that I love is the embossed lines on the Toffee cardstock background. You can add embossed lines to your own project using a bone folder and scoring board. Little details like that are easy to do, but add so much to the overall design.
Jill also created coordinating envelopes using the sign holding bunny from the Mini Mail stamp set. I know if I opened my mailbox and found this cute bunny inside, it would definitely make me smile!
And, of course, the perfect finishing touch is Jill’s personalized stamp added to the back of her cards. You can get your own personalized stamp through this Sunday, February 3rd at the Personalized Pop-Up Shop in the Taylored Expressions webstore.
The fun and whimsical greetings on this card set by Melody definitely brings a smile to my face! The colors are a soft and happy combination and I love all of details from the different stenciled backgrounds to the coordinating envelopes with the stamped and stenciled details.
Melody used several designs from {Boxed In} Basics and stamped a different sentiment from the Bubble Greetings stamp set into each design. The letters are colored with Copic markers and I love the effect of the overlapping letters with the transparency of the markers.
On the back of her cards, Melody also used the “handstamped by” personalized stamp from the Personalized Pop-Up Shop that is in the Taylored Expressions webstore through this Sunday, February 3rd.
Time is running out to order your own personalized stamp from the Personalized Pop-Up Shop! There are 4 Taylor-made designs to choose from that you can customize with your name, website, etc. Click below to get all of the details and to order your stamp today. They are only available through this Sunday, February 3rd!
