Hey, crafty friends! We have a fun week in store for you here at the Taylored Expressions blog! Last October, we released the Designer Dangles kit and so many of you have been making some pretty awesome earring designs with it. Then, in December we released more supplies and accessories to create Designer Dangles earring designs with and that led to even more trendy earring designs! Today, we have even more new products available for you to really expand your Designer Dangles earring design arsenal! I have LOTS of information and inspiration to share with you today, so let’s get to it!

The new Designer Dangles products include new dies that create several new shapes for more design options, new Craft Leathers, new TE Designer 100% Wool Felt colors, and a few other new earring making accessories. The Designer Dangles die collection and the Craft Leathers – Metallic Basics from the original kit are also now available to purchase separately.

There are three new die collections to create even more shapes and designs of Designer Dangles earrings! All of the die collections are the Mixed Media dies that are designed to cut through a variety of materials, including our Craft Leathers and TE Designer 100% Wool Felt. If you like bigger earring designs, you will love the Designer Dangles – The Bigger the Better die collection. After die cutting the shapes you can add them to an ear wire for a very on trend look, use them in a necklace design, or even add them to a card design! For reference, the largest teardrop die measures about 3″ tall.

Expand your design options with the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifter die collection. The different shapes in this collection are perfect for layering and using with jump rings to build multi-tiered designs!

Add a unique and sophisticated look to your earring designs with the Designer Dangles – Free Flow die collection. These curved shapes look amazing layered with each other and with other Designer Dangles shapes!

There are three new Craft Leather collections to die cut your earrings from: Colorful, Burnished, Weave, and Black & White Geo. The Craft Leathers a faux leather material and have a soft felt-like backing on them. Use these Craft Leathers with the Designer Dangles kit and other Designer Dangles dies to create mix and match designs with a variety of textures. You can use the Craft Leathers alone or pair them with other Craft Leathers, charms, or TE Designer 100% Wool Felt to create your designs.

Add sophisticated charm to your earring designs with the new Metal Leaf Charms. The charm assortment includes one pair each of three different metal tones: gold, silver, and bronze. The leaf design compliments any of the different Designer Dangles die collections!

Use the jump rings to create multi-tiered creations with the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifter die collection. The jump ring assortment includes 25 gold-tone rings and 25 silver-tone rings.

There are four new TE Designer 100% Wool Felt colors: Cup of Tea, Red Velvet, Apricot Jam, and Cool as a Cucumber. Use the TE Designer 100% Wool Felt to add shimmering touches to your to your Designer Dangles earrings or other craft projects!

Let’s take a closer look at the some of the projects that Taylor created using the new Designer Dangles products:

This trio of earring designs by Taylor uses the different Craft Leathers in a neutral palette. I think all of these would go with so many different outfits and looks!

The top left design uses the new leaf charms layered over a Designer Dangles – Free Flow shape die cut from the Weave craft leather which is layered over a metallic gold open tear drop that was die cut with the Designer Dangles – The Bigger The Better dies.

The top right design uses several different leathers to create a trendy tiered design with the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifter dies and jump rings.

The bottom design has three layers cut from three different Craft Leathers using the Designer Dangles – Free Flow dies.

This earring pair duo are bright and bold. The colors will brighten up any look and really make the designs pop!

The pair on the left is created with the Designer Dangles – Free Flow dies. Taylor layered the smallest shape die cut from teal craft leather over a larger shape die cut from the black and white stripe craft leather.

The pair on the right is created using the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifter dies cut from three different colors of craft leather and attached together with jump rings to create the fun multi-tiered design.
