Craft Your Own Trendy Accessories With Kelly Lunceford
Hey, crafty friends! I have a special guest designer to feature for you today: Kelly Lunceford! Kelly is a crafter who enjoys making creations with paper like cards, 3D projects, and more. She is a part of several design teams in the paper crafting industry and loves to share her passion for creativity. You can visit Kelly’s blog HERE or follow her on Instagram HERE.
Kelly bought the Designer Dangles kit when it first debuted and when we approached her about creating with the new Designer Dangles products, she didn’t hesitate to say YES! She created ten (yes, 10!) pairs of earrings to share with you today. I am taking a wild guess that Kelly had a little bit of fun creating with the Designer Dangles products!
This first set of earrings has a fresh and bright feel to them that Kelly achieved using the new Colorful craft leathers paired with some other neutral colors and metallic craft leathers.
The earrings on the left were created by layering the different sizes in the Designer Dangles – The Bigger The Better die collection. I love the different textures that Kelly used on each of the different layers!
The pair in the middle uses a Designer Dangles – The Bigger The Better die for the base and then Kelly layered metallic shapes from the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifter die collection. Kelly looped the long, skinny rectangle back on itself for the top layer for a really fun and unique detail!
The pair of earrings on the right were created with the Designer Dangles – The Bigger The Better dies with white and pink craft leathers and then Kelly added a chevron shape to the top from the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifters die collection for a fun and unexpected finishing touch.

This next set of earrings have a more neutral color palette making them very versatile to go with many different outfits and looks!
The earrings on the left use the original Designer Dangles dies along with the new Designer Dangles – The Bigger The Better die collection. Kelly die cut the smaller shape from the original die collection from the bigger shape and then used the same small die to cut from a different material to layer at the top of the earrings.
Moving to the middle pair of earrings, Kelly used the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifters dies to create a multi-tiered earring design. Kelly used craft leathers from the Metallic Basics and Burnished sets and they mix and match beautifully together!
The pair on the right is a pairing of shapes from the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifter dies. If you think they look familiar, you are right! Kelly layered this same pair onto the teal layered earrings that I shared above. To get an additional hole on the opposite end of the long skinny rectangle, she ran the shape through her die cut machine twice, flipping the die around on the second pass to add the second hole to the other end – genius!

Both of the pairs of earrings here are created with the Designer Dangles – Free Flow dies. Kelly layered different colors and textures of the craft leathers together with the different size shapes in the die collection. The earrings on the left have a top layer that is die cut with the original Designer Dangles die collection. I love the different looks that you can get by swapping out the different colors, textures, and patterns.
Here are the final pairs of earrings that Kelly created to share with the Designer Dangles products!
The pair on the left is so creative! Kelly smooshed a tear drop shape from the Designer Dangles – The Bigger The Better die collection together in the middle. She added some glue to bond the shape together and used a clothespin to hold everything in place to dry. The result is a textural shape that is perfectly elegant!
And finally, Kelly made a simple earring design with long skinny rectangles from the Designer Dangles – Shape Shifters die collection. This is a classic look that will work well with so many outfits and are a style you would reach for again and again!

Kelly had so many wonderful ideas to share with the Designer Dangles projects and she says they were so easy to work up and become addictive to make.
