We don’t celebrate thanksgiving but when we get together for turkey dinner, my fave is my moms stuffing and gravy.

  • Amy McClintock

I cook the main meal at Thanksgiving these days, my mom doesn’t cook anymore, so I put my mom and my daughter in charge of assembling easy side dishes together in my kitchen (like green bean casserole, Jiffy cornbread corn casserole and sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top). I love all the side dishes and watching them make them!

  • MaryB

We usually host Thanksgiving, and may I say it is pretty awesome! I have a pumpkin pie recipe from a 1954 cookbook – it uses 2 cups of whipping cream in the pie, plus more for topping. Everyone says it is the best they have ever tasted. Then add in the smoked turkey, amazing dressing, praline baked sweet potatoes, roasted veggies with balsamic, homemade creamed corn, fresh cranberries, and pecan pie. You gain weight just reading the list!

  • Connie G

We have a cheese onion pie tradition. Delish! Love those sweet little boxes soooooo much!

  • Brenda B

I generally bring pumpkin pie and green beans, but I look forward to the stuffing the most!

We always do a 5K Gobble Gallop on Thanksgiving before we eat, so I can feel less guilty about the mashed potatoes I bring to the meal. I make them in a crockpot (so they cook while we’re out), and then mash them and add lots of cream, salt, pepper, and butter *the real stuff* – so they are super thick and creamy. Traditional, but my favorite!

  • Alie

Pumpkin Pie. I’ve been making pumpkin pie from scratch using the same recipe for the past 8 or 9 years. Everyone always claims it is the best and much better than any store bought pie they’ve ever had.

The stuffing (or dressing…. whatever you call it) BEFORE it is put into the bird….as I am making it. Making the stuffing is a task filled with memories of my mother…. conversations, laughs, tasting, her funny and loving ways of making it wonderful! Then as I became a mother myself…. sharing the experience of “making stuffing” with my children! My oldest especially loved helping me… I love that time early in the morning before all the company comes to spend with my kids laughing, tasting, teasing and talking!!! Great release so far!

I want to say I love those little treat boxes too. So cute to set at each place on thanksgiving. Maybe put some pumpkin shaped candies in there with the candy corn..cute!
    RECIPE:
Easy, yummy, gooey butter cake: bake at 350° for 35 min or until slightly brown at edges.
1 box Betty Crocker pound cake mix, 1/2 cup butter(1 stick..at room temp is easiest)….mix together then add 1 egg slightly beaten and press mixture in oblong cake pan.(sometimes I cheat and use two square foil pans to take and leave..it works just as well) (or keep one for yourself?)
Next: mix 2 eggs and 1 8oz pkg cream cheese (room temp)(it will be lumpy) then add 3/4 to 1/2 box powdered sugar (about 2 1/2 cups) mix all these together and pour over cake mixture in pan.
After cake is cool sprinkle top with some powdered sugar if desired and enjoy!
Total ingredients: 3 eggs, 1/2 cup butter, 1 8oz package cream cheese, 1 box or bag powdered sugar (2 1/2 cups), 1 box Betty Crocker pound cake mix. (Betty Crocker pound cake mix has always worked and tastes the best.)

HA! I am 45 and my brother and his wife make dinner– they must still think I am a kid because I bring 2 cans of corn (my kids who are adult must have these)! I guess they know I am over 21 though because I also get tasked with wine! My sister in law makes the best stuffing with fresh mushrooms! Makes my mouth water to think of it!

  • Evelyn

Honestly, my favorite thing to eat is the turkey and stuffing. I know it’s boring, but they are truly my favorite parts of the meal!

  • Sue D

I usually bring a butternut squash casserole to Thanksgiving dinner. The squash is usually from our garden.

  • Karen

  • Chanda Mullen

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays – gathering together with family and friends with appreciation for our daily blessings! I bring fresh cranberry sauce and buttery mashed potatoes to our family feasts – yum!

  • Avra N Williams

I always make the meal, for just my husband and 2 kids (and significant others if they have them at the time.) My kids have always said that stuffing is their favorite food, and wish we had it more than once a year!

I don’t do stretchy pants. I have jaggings but that is as close as I get to those. I don’t feel comfortable wearing them; at any time.

  • Candi V

My grandmas stuffing hands down. I love it so much. It has black olives and hard boiled eggs but it is sooo good! Of course all the food is good but the stuffing is the best!

  • Mary Faith

Potato casserole also known as Texas potatoes. We can’t get enough of them.

  • Betty Sue

    I love pumpkin pie! Yum!

Since I’m not much of a turkey person, I prefer the fixins! Cheesy potatoes, sweet potato casserole, fresh veggies, homemade rolls, and dressing. Love fall!

  • Cyndi Morris

Loving this release. So many possibilities for those treat boxes! For Thanksgiving dinner I take my late mom’s macaroni and cheese. She didn’t use a recipe, but her last holiday with us she guided me through making it (it’s pretty labor-intensive). It’s pretty close to the original and it’s definitely a family favorite.

  • Allison

Swiss vegetable medley casserole, broccoli cauliflower and carrots with swiss cheese…so yummy!

  • Julia D.

This release is great! Love all the products today. And the designers have created some wonderful projects to showcase them! My favorite thing to eat at Thanksgiving is sweet potatoes but NOT with marshmallows on them. Yuck. I just like sweet potatoes baked with butter and brown sugar – YUM! Thank you for the chance to win!!

  • Sue Symens

Thanksgiving meal it my least favorite holiday meal. There is not much about it that I enjoy. I usually bring a salad because that is something that I will eat. I love fall and all that goes with it. I am truly thankful for all my blessings.

  • PHYLLIS FREESE

I love it all, but mostly the turkey & stuffing. My husband brines the turkey, so it’s very moist & tender.

  • Lisa Hissong

I do most of the cooking so I am up early brining the turkey, prepping the other dishes then putting everything in the oven/crock pot. My favorite part is the leftovers! Love the treat boxes! Will you have small saying for the other holidays?

  • Noreen

I love the stuffing! And I always make sweet potatoes, which I prefer without the marshmallow topping. I love all your cute little critters and funny comments!

  • SHELLY ARGUMEDO

    HELLO TE FRIENDS!
This year I’m most excited about taking my new husband to Thanksgiving dinner. As far as food, like every year I’m looking forward to the dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy. That is the only time of the year I have that, I guess I’m just too lazy to go to all that work during the year. I’m in love with all the new flowers and the new colors.
See you at the release party.
    Shelly

My family always asks me to bring my broccoli salad – one of their favorites. I bring deviled eggs as well. I tried a curried deviled egg a couple of years ago.
