The project I am sharing today features the Plaid Layered Stencil paired with sentiment options perfect for celebrating the men in our lives!

In the video below, I’ll share how I created two Father’s Day cards (one for my dad and one for my husband) using one patterned plaid panel created with the layering plaid stencil and blender brushes.

After blending the plaid pattern onto Sugar Cube cardstock with three different tones of blue ink, I die cut a large heart from the background. I filled the open space with Blueberry cardstock and embossed the ‘Happy Father’s Day’ sentiment with white embossing powder. I personalized the card by adding the word ‘dad’ die cut from the Building Blocks – Him stamp.

I stamped the ‘Daaaaaad’ sentiment in the middle of the die-cut plaid heart and placed it onto a tone on tone plaid background. The inside says ‘Just wanted to I love you!’

Let me tell you more about the new products debuting along with inspiration from the TE Creative Team! The new products will be available for purchase tomorrow, May 19th, at 9AM Central Time!

You already saw the new Plaid Layered Stencil above! The collection includes two stencils that have alignment squares to enable you to line everything up easily to create the perfect plaid design.
The Brushstroke Basics stamp set includes 6 sentiments designed and sized to work with the words in the Building Blocks – Him collection. With our innovative alignment squares, you can cut 22 words with one trip through the die cut machine and use them to personalize cards for a variety of occasions. Several of the sentiments in Brushstroke Basics work on their own or can be combined with words from the previously released Building Blocks – Her stamp too!
The Inside Scoop – For Him includes a variety of sentiments to use on the inside of your cards, but many are useful on the outside as well.

Melody Rupple created a great masculine plaid on this Father’s Day card using Toffee and Blue Corn ink. She added ‘you are an amazing’ from the Brushstroke Basics stamp set and completed the sentiment with ‘father’ from the Building Blocks – Him stamp.
Now on to the dog-themed products! But – cat lovers, don’t despair! We have you covered in another release that’s coming soon!

The Puppy Love Layered Stencil includes two stencils the same alignment squares featured on the plaid stencil. These squares enable you to line up the hearts perfectly within the paw print background. Plus you can use either of these stencils on their own for even more options!
The Paw Prints stamp set features a large heart filled with paw prints and several dog-themed sentiment. The paw print heart was sized to work perfectly with the larger heart in the Designer Masking Stencil – Hearts collection.

Jill Hawkins used just the paw prints from the Puppy Love Layered Stencil and created a pretty background to layer the paw print heart onto. Keep scrolling to learn more about that cute puppy and sentiment that Jill used!

We have three dog-themed die collections making their debut: Silhouettes: Puppies, Small Breed, and Large Breed. Each set features 3 dog silhouettes that can be layered over the paw print heart or used to create a cute background or border of dogs.

Gayatri Murali used dog silhouettes from a few of the new die collections to create this card to welcome a new pet! I love the unique color combination she chose; Sea Salt, Peaches N Cream, and Raspberry Sorbet.
Next, there’s a few new additions to the Simple Strips collection!

To go along with the new dog-themed products, we have the Simple Strips – Woof stamp! Stamp 18 dog and pet-themed sentiments at one time and then cut them all out with one pass through your die cut machine using the coordinating Simple Strips die.
Or, you can cut all of the Simple Strips – Woof sentiments out using the new Simple Strips – Well Rounded die! The Simple Strips – Well Rounded was designed to work with our new Simple Strips -Woof stamp AND all of our previously released Simple Strips stamps to allow you to easily cut out the 18 sentiments with rounded ends.

Heather Nichols used one of the sentiments from Simple Strips – Woof on this sweet card featuring Sugar Cube ink on her signature Toffee cardstock. Heather colored that cute puppy using a no-line coloring technique. Keep scrolling for a look at that puppy and several other equally adorable critters!

It’s not going to take you long to fall in love with this new duo! Introducing Gus & Gertie, dog and bird friends who are here to celebrate the simple joys of life.

Gayatri Murali created this cute scene with the new Gus & Gertie stamp set and coordinating dies. She colored up Gus and a few Gertie birds and set them into a circle on her card that she blended using the Masking Stencils – Circles collection. She finished her design off with a few shiny Bits & Pieces – Drip Drops!

You are going to love all of the sweet animal friends in the new Swinging By stamp set. The set includes a cat, dog (this is what both Jill & Heather used on their projects above!), fox, bird, and owl along with five fun sentiments.
The critters from the Swinging By stamp set are sized perfectly to sit on the swing in the Treetops Background set. Create a magical interactive card when you pair these new sets with our previously released On a Hinge die to create a swinging element.

Jen Shults used the On a Hinge die, On the Right Track Discs, and TE Foam Sticky Circles to create this gorgeous interactive design. Be sure to stop by the blog tomorrow to see my video to show you how to do it!
