In today’s video, I’ll be showing you how the four products in our Swingin’ By bundle were designed to work together with our previously released On a Hinge die to create an interactive card that you’ll want to share with everyone!

Here’s a closer look at the products that I shared in the video:

You are going to love all of the cute critters in the new Swinging By stamp set. The set includes a cat, dog, fox, bird, and owl along with five fun sentiments. In order to place the critters on the swing from the Treetops Background, you’ll want the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Hang the swing from the tree for instant cuteness! Each of the critters are sized to fit perfectly on the swing. The Treetops Background can be die cut with the coordinating edger die in order to make the swing come to life beneath the treetop.

In the video, I share how to assemble the hinge mechanism to create the interactive element. I also share howto create the cloudy backdrop and add a little dimension to the grass and flowers using blender brushes. Gayatri Murali paired the cute fox from the Swinging By stamp set with the new Plaid Layered Stencil set. I love how she placed the fox on a vellum layer so the cute plaid design shows through. And, of course, I can never get enough of the Bits & Pieces – Drip Drops that Gayatri sprinkled around the fox and sentiment!

Jen Shults paired two of our Father’s Day stamps to create this clean and simple personalized card for dad. She used the Masking Stencils – Square Windows set to create a blended background that perfectly highlights her sentiment from the Brushstroke Basics stamp set. This one could easily be personalized for many of the men in your life by simply changing the word ‘dad’ for any of the other words in the Building Blocks – Him stamp.

Jill Hawkins rocked the Plaid Layered Stencil on this card she created for her husband. She combined Gumball, Cilantro, and Cherry Pop inks, added the sentiment from the Brushstroke Basics set, and paired it with the ‘husband’ word from Building Blocks – Him. Inside her card, she stamped a sentiment from The Inside Scoop – For Him stamp set in Blueberry Ink to coordinate with the Blueberry tag on the card front.

Heather Nichols did a little patchwork and created a fun madras plaid design with the Plaid Layered Stencil set. She created the plaid design on Blue Corn, Olive, and Honey cardstock, cut out squares from each of the plaids with a Stitched Square Stacklets die, and pieced them together on her card front. She paired the new The Inside Scoop – For Him stamp set and personalized with ‘dad’ from Building Blocks – Him.
