Are you ready for more dog-themed inspiration? I have a pair of cards to share with you today created with the new Paw Prints stamp set and dog silhouette die collections.
The cards I created on the video are sweet and simple and perfect to keep in your card stash to help welcome a new furry friend to the family or share fond memories and sympathy on the passing of a beloved dog.
The cards are built around the large paw print filled heart and I finished them off with sentiments from the Paw Prints set as well:
I also used a few of our new dog silhouettes popped up over the paw prints. Choose from puppies, small breed, and large breed silhouettes.
I started the cards by blending a heart onto Sugar Cube cardstock using the larger heart from the Masking Stencil – Hearts collection. After ink blending the hearts, I embossing the paw prints over the top with white embossing powder.
The cards were easy to finish off with a couple sentiments and one of the silhouettes dogs popped up in the center of each heart.
I have a few more pieces of inspiration to share from our TE Creative Team:
Jen Shults used the Paw Prints set to create this rainbow dog sympathy card. She also used the Masking Stencils – Hearts set to blend a rainbow heart and then embossed the paw print heart from the Paw Prints stamp set over the top using clear embossing powder for a wonderful tone on tone effect. The dog silhouette that Jen used is from the Silhouettes – Large Breed die collection. She added a sympathy sentiment from Simple Strips – Woof and cut it out with the Simple Strips – Well Rounded die.
The Puppy Love Layered Stencil includes two stencils that have registration guides that enable you to line up the paw print and heart designs just perfectly! Use either of these stencils on their own for even more options!
Heather Nichols created a bright and colorful background for this pair of puppy cards using the Puppy Love Layered Stencil set. She used Guava Pineapple, and Cookie Monster inks to create a rainbow blend for the paw print layer and then added the heart layer in Cherry Pop ink. I love how she cut the puppy silhouette opening on the Stitched Rectangle Stacklet and then layered a piece of vellum behind so the paw print background peeks through!
Before I head out for today, I want to remind you to join me for “T Time” at 1pm Central today on the Taylored Expressions Facebook Page. I’m diving into adhesives again; specifically, the specialty adhesives that we have available in the TE webstore. I hope to see you there!
And that’s a wrap for this release! Thank you to all of you for your excitement, sharing, and support of TE products. We love that you are choosing to let us be a part of your crafty lives. Until next time!
