It’s Snow Much Fun! More Inspiration with the NEW Frosty Kit!
Hey, crafty friends! It’s Heather here today and I am so happy that you are all so excited about the new Frosty Kit that I designed! I have always been a huge fan of any thing snowman and snowflake for the holidays and I think this kit speaks to both of those. I have a shaker card project to share with you today as well as more inspiration from the TE Creative Team! Click below to shop for the Frosty Kit and then keep scrolling for the inspiration!
Watch the video below to see how I created this cute snowman shaker card using the Frosty Kit:
In the video, I show you how I created the snowman background on the card using the Frosty Background Cling & Clear set and Frosty stencil. I stamped and stenciled the main parts of the image with Sugar Cube ink and then added the details using different ink colors and the clear stamps included in the Frosty Background set. I also show you how I created the shaker element on the card as well as the snowman and sentiment strip attached to the front of the shaker.
Shaker cards have never been so easy as when you use TE Foam Sticky Strips! I simply added them to the back of the Stitched Frame Stacklets die that is backed with window acetate and then attached the frame over a pile of shaker fillings that I placed on the card background.
I used the new Bits & Pieces – Snowflakes and Vanilla Creme Shaker Filling to fill up my shaker on this project. Bit & Pieces – Snowflakes are included as part of the Frosty Kit, but are also available to purchase separately. I will be reaching for these cute snowflakes for many winter and Christmas themed projects!
Check out the list below for all of the supplies to create this project:
Here’s even more inspiration to share from the TE Creative Team with the Frosty Kit:
Melody Rupple stamped the Frosty Background and added the snowflakes around the snowmen using the coordinating Frosty stencil. She added a few festive sentiments from the Winter Wishes stamp set on the Sentiment Strip Duo die cuts and popped up a few die cut Frosty heads to add to the end of each strip. I love how she added a bit of bling to the hat bands with the Bits & Pieces – White Rhinestones!
How ‘cool’ is this card created by Jen Shults? I love the card background where she stamped the Frosty Background with a tone on tone look using Sea Salt ink on Gumball cardstock. She added the snowflakes using white embossing paste with the Frosty stencil and the dimensional look is fantastic! The snowman for the main image on this card is the shining star and I love the red frame backed with vellum that is embossed with a flurry of snowflakes!
Jen Shults also created this card that features the whole Frosty Background image. I love the striped border and red accents that Jen added to the sides of her card front that create a bold and bright look. There are so many fun details that really make this card extra special like the Nuvo drops that Jen added to the snowflakes in the background and the strip of vellum underneath the sentiment strip to set it off.
Jill Hawkins also created a shaker card using the Frosty Kit by pairing it with a frame that she created with the Heart Stacklets die collection. I love the chalkboard effect on the background that Jill got by embossing the snowmen from the Frosty Background in white on Oreo cardstock. She added a bunch of sparkle by adding the snowflakes from the Frosty stencil with Moonstone Glimmer Paste.
That wraps up the inspiration for the Frosty Kit! But, one last thing before I go today…
