Let’s start things off today with a look at projects using some of the products from the Farm Fresh Kit: Farm Fresh Critters stamp set (+ coordinating dies), Farm Fresh stamp set, Gingham Background stamp, and Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips set.
Laurie Willison paired the Farm Fresh Critters stamp set (+ coordinating dies) with the Good Vibes stamp set, originally from the Hey There Kit, to create this cute clean and simple card. The pig is colored with Copic markers and added to a background stamped with the fence image from the Farm Fresh Critters stamp set. My favorite detail is the tiny little pink heart that Laurie added to the end of the ‘consider this card a great big squeeze’ sentiment!
This next card is by me (Heather Nichols) and I created a cozy quilt background using the Gingham Background stamp. I stamped the gingham pattern onto Pink Champagne, Cherry Pop, and Guava cardstock using Sugar Cube ink and cut out a bunch of squares from each of them using the smallest square in the Stitched Square Stacklets die collection. I assembled the squares together to create the quilty background, added the horse critter from the Farm Fresh Critters stamp set, lots of hearts, and the ‘be mine’ sentiment from the Banner Year – Love Stamp & Die Combo set to create this cute Valentine card.
Gayatri Murali used the Gingham Background stamp as part of the background on this Christmas card! The gingham pattern is stamped onto a Sugar Cube card base using Mocha ink. Gayatri created the focal point for her card using the On the Block – Merry Shadow die paired with the On Repeat – Christmas stamp (+ coordinating On Repeat die) and layered that over pine branches that are cut out with the Pine Clippings die collection. Take one more look at Gayatri’s card and you will spy polka dot rays coming out from above and below the ‘merry’ that are created with the Dotty Ray stencil, originally from the Hey There Kit!
Next, let’s take a look at projects using some of the products from the Field Notes Kit: Sketchbook Florals stamp set (+ coordinating dies) Field Notes stamp set, Rough Draft Background stamp, and Masking Stencils – Frayed Edge Rectangles set.
Natasha Valkovskaya created this ‘simply fabulous’ card using the Sketchbook Florals stamp set (+ coordinating dies). The floral stem is added to a background that Natasha stenciled with just a portion of the Hot Spots stencil. She tipped the stencil on an angle and added the design coming up from the lower right corner of the card, masking off the outside border with the largest rectangle stencil from the Masking Stencils – Rectangles set. Her design is finished off with a sentiment from the Simple Strips Background stamp and a few Bits & Pieces – Clear Drip Drops.
The Sketchbook Florals stamp set is perfect for practicing your coloring skills and Kavya defintely let hers shine on this card! Kavya assembled her colored blooms into a jar created with the Mason Jar stamp set. I love the dark Poblano Pepper cardstock background that Kavya used for her card base and how her colored blooms really stand out on it. She stamped just the outside edges of the Twinkle Twinkle Background stamp onto her background for an extra dreamy look and the ‘sending sunshine & happiness’ sentiment is from the Swinging By stamp set.
Here’s another look at the Masking Stencil – Frayed Edge Rectangles set on this bright and cheery rainbow card by Laurie Willison. Laurie used the larger rectangle in the set to stencil a blue sky for the rainbow created with the Over the Rainbow die. The sentiment under the rainbow is from the Over the Rainbow Sentiments stamp set and Laurie stretched the stamp out a bit so that the sentiment would stamp in a straight line!
And finally today are projects using some of the products from the Hey There Kit: Hey There Stamp & Stencil Combo set, Hey There Sunshine stencil, Hey There Shadow die, Good Vibes stamp set, and Dotty Ray stencil.
I love all of the different color combinations that I have seen out there using the Hey There Kit products. Latisha Yoast kept things clean and simple by doing a monochromatic look with a pop of color on the border of her card design. The sentiment on the card is stamped with one of the ‘hey there’ options in the Hey There Stamp & Stencil Combo set in Plum Punch and then Latisha added the sun ray design using the Hey There Sunshine stencil behind the sentiment with a few shades of purple inks to coordinate. The Lime Zest color on the border really makes the purple pop and the bit of twine tied around the card front is a great finishing touch.
Get creative with your sentiments like Kavya did here on her card created with the Hey There Stamp & Stencil Combo set. She stamped just the ‘hey’ part of the ‘hey there’ sentiment using the outline version of the sentiment in the set and added the dimensional shadows using the coordinating stencils. Kavya repeated the ‘hey’ three times and added sentiment from the Tag Team – Birthday set to complete this card that is perfect for a celebration!
The Good Vibes stamp set is a great sentiment set that is wonderful for sending love and encouragement to the special people in your life. Annette Allen created this Mini Slim card to send to a dear friend and let the ‘sending good vibes’ sentiment take center stage. The background of her card is created with the Mini Slim – Floral Lattice stencil using transfer gel and silver foil for a look that is full of shimmer and shine. This card would definitely bring a smile to my face if it showed up in my mailbox!
