Product Spotlight: Seasonal Sprig – It’s Not Just For the Holidays!
Hey, crafty friends! How was your holiday? We are in in the home stretch of 2020 this week and I am definitely ready for a fresh start this next year. How about you? Have you made any crafty goals for 2021? For me, my goal is to SEND MORE CARDS IN THE MAIL! I am great at creating cards, but not so great at sending them out. Taking time to send joy to a loved will be wonderful for not only the card recipient, but also me as well – for so many reasons! I’ll try to keep you updated on my progress. *wink!*
Today, I have fresh inspiration to share from a few members of the TE Creative Team using the ever popular Seasonal Sprig products that debuted this past fall. This product collection, at first glance, seems like it’s one for just holiday projects, but it has proven to be perfect for many other occasions too!
Before I get to today’s inspiration, I want to remind you about the Clear the Shelf Sale happening in the TE webstore:

Okay, now let’s take a closer look at the Seasonal Spring products and then keep scrolling for the inspiration from the TE Creative Team:
The Seasonal Sprig stamp set features a lovely sketched berry branch perfect for creating a botanical look on your holiday projects along with five seasonal sentiments. Color the berry branch with your favorite medium or quickly add color using the new Seasonal Sprig Stencils. Plus, add the Seasonal Sprig Cutting Plate to your collection for even more dimensational card layouts!
The first few projects are perfect for the holiday season. While the holidays have wrapped up, you could use these card ideas for next year or create holiday thank you cards to send to your family and friends:
I love the dramatic effect that Melody Rupple created with the dark background on this card. It is created with the Twinkle Twinkle Background embossed in gold on Oreo cardstock. She layered the Seasonal Sprig Cutting Plate die cut from Sugar Cube cardstock over the top that is stamped with the image from the Seasonal Sprig stamp set. Melody colored the image with Copic markers and added the sentiment embossed in gold on a Stitched Circle Stacklets die cut to finish things off.
Laurie Willison created this gorgeous clean and simple design using the Seasonal Sprig stamp set. She stamped the image on Sugar Cube cardstock and added color using the coordinating Seasonal Sprig Layering Stencil set. Take a second look at the image and you will see the detail that Laurie added to the leaves with Copic markers and glitter on the berries! The sentiment is created with the Merry Script die and coordinating Make it Merry stamp set.
Next up are a few projects created with the Seasonal Sprig products that are perfect for occasions throughout the year:
Natasha Valkovskaya created this colorful card using the Seasonal Sprig stamp set to celebrate a special occasion. The background on the card is stenciled with Blender Brushes and the Criss-Cross stencil in a rainbow of colors. I really like how Natasha stamped the image from the Seasonal Sprig stamp set in Cookie Monster ink and left it uncolored. It really stands out over the brightly colored background! She used the Seasonal Sprig Cutting Plate die to cut it out, but also added a thicker frame over the top and popped a few leaves out for a great dimensional effect. The ‘it’s your special day!’ sentiment is from the Tag Team – Birthday stamp set and is embossed in white on Oreo cardstock.
Annette Allen used the Seasonal Sprig stamp set to create this soft and pretty thank you card. I love the pink, peach, and soft yellow tones throughout the design! The background is created with Blender Brushes and the Pretty Petals stencil and I love how Annette laid down a pretty pastel color blend first and then added the petals over the top in the Peaches ‘n’ Cream color. The branch image is stamped on the coordinating Seasonal Sprig Cutting Plate die cut and colored using Blender Brushes and the Seasonal Sprig Layering Stencil set. The ‘grateful for you’ sentiment is from the Handlettered Thanksgiving stamp set and cut out with the coordinating die.
That wraps up the inspiration that I have to share with you today using the Seasonal Sprig products. Did one of the projects I shared today catch your eye? The TE Creative Team is always inspiring me to try something new on future projects and I always look forward to seeing what they create next. Join me later this week for another batch of fresh inspiration from the TE Creative Team and thank you so much for stopping by today!
