Keeping Things Cute & Snarky for 2022!
Hey, crafty friends! It’s Heather here today! I have more inspiration to share with you today to create a cute and snarky calendar for 2022 with the new Clipboard Calendar – Snarky pre-printed cards. Did you see all of the new 2022 calendar offerings that we introduced on Tuesday? There are a few new products, individual items you can purchase that were a part of the Handcrafted Calendar Kit that we released last fall, and several TE calendar favorites that are updated for your 2022 projects.
Here’s just a peek at the new calendar creating options that are now available! Click below to shop all of the new 2022 Calendar options in the TE webstore:
Watch the video below to see how I created a cute, but very snarky 2022 calendar with the Clipboard Calendar – Snarky pack, Mini Tear-off Calendars, and Walnut Wood Clipboard Stand:
In the video, I share how I created the double blended background that I attached the Mini Tear-off Calendar onto. I colored a few of the cards from the Clipboard Calendar – Snarky pack using Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils that are blended using Gamsol. The background with the calendar is attached to the Walnut Wood Clipboard Stand using the included clip and you can easily swap out the different cards at the top!
The sentiments in the Clipboard Calendar – Snarky set sure bring a smile to my face and who doesn’t love the cute and crabby Grumpling critters? I flip through all of the cards in the set in the video above if you want to see them. The pre-printed cards are Copic friendly and make creating this calendar project a breeze! I matched a few Copic colors to use on the borders so that the cards coordinate with my blended background.
The cards are simply clipped to the calendar with the clip included with the Walnut Wood Clipboard Stand, so swapping them out is very easy to do. You could leave your favorite card up for the whole year, swap them out each month, or switch them out whenever you want!
Side note: The Walnut Wood Clipboard Stand was designed to display calendars, but you could use it to display a favorite photo or handmade card too!
The Calendar Storage Sleeves can hold the extra cards from the Clipboard Calendar packs and while you would want to clip the sleeve on the backside of the stand when you are displaying your calendar, you can bundle everything up and clip it to the front for gift giving.
Check out the list below for the supplies that I used to create my calendar:
