We took this kit and incorporated on of my favorite types of interactive cards – shakers! That means you can keep the confetti flying for all of your special celebrations, but contained in our new infinity shaker panels. Not only is this kit great for birthday cards, but it will work for celebrating other worthy occasions too – graduations, retirements, anniversaries, and more. I know you are going to have so much fun creating with this one…!

What else is unique about Taylored Expressions kits? In keeping with our mission to Share Joy, we encourage you to send the cards you create by including six envelopes along with six custom envelope seals to match the theme of the kit. Each kit comes packaged in a zippered pouch with a coordinating vinyl sticker making it easy to keep the supplies organized. The vast majority of the individual items included in our cardmaking kits will not be available to purchase individually in the future. While we may, on rare occasions, release a kit item into our regular inventory at a later time, this will no longer be an option for the majority of the products. Instead, they will remain exclusive to the kits and may only be purchased as part of a kit while supplies last.

Since our curated cardmaking kits can sell out quickly, we encourage you to purchase the kits you love when they are released, as they will not be restocked once they have sold out. We intend to release a kit the last Tuesday of each month at 9am (Central), and a sneak preview will be posted on the TE Blog on the Saturday prior to the release.

We sent the new Celebrating You Cardmaking Kit to Emily Leiphart and she created this great set of four cards with it! Watch the video below to see how she created all of them:

In the video, Emily shares a closer look at what’s included in the Celebrating You Cardmaking Kit and then shows four different card designs that she created with it.

Here’s a closer look at the cards that Emily created in the video:

This card features the Let’s Celebrate You stamp that Emily stamped in multiple colors by inking the stamp up with mini ink cubes. She shares a great tip in the video about softening the edges of the ink colors on your stamp with a blender brushes to help create a smoother blend between the colors. The frame around the sentiment is impressed with the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets. Emily covered the stamped panel with an A2 Infinity Shaker Panel, adhering the tabs to the back of the panel with a strong, sticky tape and filling the shaker with Shaker Dots.

For this card, Emily created a color block background with four different colors of cardstock (Lollipop, Lemon Meringue, Key Lime, and Candy Corn) and cut out the Confetti Maker die from two of the colors. She layered an unfoiled Foil It Acetate – Let’s Celebrate You panel over the top of the background, framed it with the largest frame from the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate, and popped it up from background with foam sticky strips. I love how she layered silver glitter cardstock behind the confetti openings for a touch of extra sparkle!

Emily gathered several sentiment strips together from the Mini Strips – Let’s Celebrate stamp on this fun card design. The sentiments are embossed in white on several cardstock colors and cut out with the new Mini Strips – Flags die (sold separately from the kit). She scattered the strips down the card front and added a few stars sprinkled around them that are cut out with the Confetti Maker die.

On this last card, Emily showcased one of the envelope seals on her card front! She backed the sticker with a circle of cardstock to give it a bit more stability and popped it up on a silver glitter cardstock circle cut out with the Stitched Circle Stacklets die collection. The background of the card features a striped design created with the Easy Strips – 1/8″ and Easy Strips – 1/4″ dies. The background panel is added to a card base that is impressed with the Diamonds Piercing Plate – how great is that extra texture that is peeking out from behind the background?!

Now, let’s take a closer look at the different elements of the kit as well as more inspiration from the TE Creative Team. Note: Most of these items are only available as part of the Celebrate You Cardmaking Kit.

Create a card that is ready to celebrate! This bold sentiment with a thin line detail fills up your A2 sized card front. Accent the sentiment with details to customize the card and coordinating sentiments from the Mini Strips – Let’s Celebrate stamp or other sentiments from your own collection.

Jill Hawkins embossed the Let’s Celebrate You stamp using puffy white embossing powder onto Blueberry cardstock for this infinity shaker card. The sentiment is framed with a Lollipop frame cut out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die and enclosed in an A2 Infinity Shaker Panel along with Bits & Pieces – Confetti Dots. The whole look is playful, fun, and perfect for any occasion worth celebrating!

The Foil It Acetate – Let’s Celebrate You panels feature the bold ‘let’s celebrate you’ sentiment printed with a toner ink so that you can top with foil and send through your Minc machine (a heat laminator works well to foil too!) Use the panels on interactive shaker cards so that the sentiment stands out over the festive shaker fillings.

Noriko Fairchild added extra shimmer and shine to this card with the Foil It Acetate – Let’s Celebrate You panels! She foiled the sentiment with Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil with her Minc machine (you can also foil with a heat laminator) and layered it inside and A2 Inifinity Shaker panel filled with lots of sequins and confetti. If you peek extra close, you’ll notice the tone on tone background stamped with the Gifted Background stamp. Noriko finished things off by framing the shaker panel with the largest frame from the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate die.

TE’s Mini Strips collection is a smaller version of our very popular Simple Strips collection. The Mini Strips – Let’s Celebrate stamp coordinates with our original Mini Strips die, Mini Strips – Asymmetrical die, or the new Mini Strips – Flags die (sold separately) to create 10 sentiment strips that are perfect for all your cards and gift tags to celebrate a special occasion. Use these sayings individually or layer them together for more impact.

Kavya paired the Celebrate You Kit with the Create-in-Quads Birthday Layering Stencil set to create this festive birthday card. The background is stenciled with the confetti portion of the stencil and then Kavya used the Create-in-Quads Birthday Party Hat die cut to create the party hat. Instead of stenciling the stripes on the hat, Kavya used sentiment strips from the Mini Strips – Let’s Celebrate stamp! The panel is enclosed in an A2 Infinity Shaker Panel filled with lots of Snow Flurries sequins.

With one pass through your die cut machine, you can create a pile of confetti! The Confetti Maker die cuts out all sorts of confetti pieces in shapes (stars, diamonds, circles, and more) that are perfect for celebrating. Use the confetti as shaker filling or as accents on your cards to celebrate a special day or event!

Heather Nichols cut out the Confetti Maker die from Lemon Meringue, Key Lime, Cookie Monster, and Plum Punch cardstock to use as shaker filling along with Snow Flurries sequins on this card created with the Celebrate You Kit. The A2 Infinity Shaker Panel is wrapped around a background panel stamped with the Let’s Celebrate You stamp inked up with multiple colors using mini ink cubes. To finish things off, Heather added a Cookie Moster Frame cut out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die, the ‘make a wish’ sentiment strip, and a few extra pieces of confetti adhered to the front of the shaker.

Create infinity shaker cards with ease using the new A2 Infinity Shaker Panels! The panels are sized to fit over an A2 coordinating card panel measuring 4″ x 5.25″. Simply place over the top of the card panel, fold and adhere 3 of the side tabs to the back with a strong sticky tape, fill the shaker with a flat style filler, and fold over the last side and secure with a strong sticky tape to close it up.

Jen Shults created a set of four cards by pairing the new Celebrate You Kit with the Create-in-Quads Birthday Layering Stencil set. The birthday designs are stenciled in a rainbow of colors and then Jen paired the party hat and pile of presents with sentiment strips from the Mini Strips – Let’s Celebrate stamp. She layered the Foil It Acetate – Let’s Celebrate You panels without foil over the confetti and streamer backgrounds. All of the panels are enclosed in A2 Inifinity Shaker panels with a variety of shaker fillings added to each card design. Jen finished off the cards with a variety of frames cut out from several different dies (A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate, Stitched Frame Stacklets 1, and Frame in Frame Cutting Plate) from Oreo cardstock.

Fill up your shaker cards and/or accent your cards with these fun and colorful Shaker Dots! This flat, round confetti has multiple sizes and is perfect for using with our A2 Infinity Shaker Panels. The mini pot gives you plenty of Shaker Dots for creating several interactive shaker cards!

Melody Rupple is ready to toss the confetti to celebrate with this shaker card that she created with the Celebrate You Kit! The background is stamped with the Let’s Celebrate You stamp using a different ink color for each line (mini ink cubes work great to do this!) Melody filled the shaker with Shaker Dots and confetti that she cut out with the Confetti Maker die. The shaker is framed with glitter cardstock that is cut out with a Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 die.

The Celebrate You Cardmaking Kit includes 6 envelopes and 6 custom envelope seals that coordinate with the theme of the kit. The six A2 envelopes are Lollipop, Candy Corn, Lemon Meringue, Key Lime, Plum Punch, and Sugar Cube. The coordinating envelope seals are made from durable, weatherproof material and are sure to bring a smile to the recipients of your cards.

Additional Celebrate You Envelope Seals are available to purchase in packages of 10.

Instead of using the envelope seal on the envelope, Emily Mydlowski made it part of this shaker card design! Emily created a striped background with the Easy Strips – 1/8″ die to match the stripes on the seal and enclosed the background panel in an A2 Infinity Shaker Panel. The shaker is filled with Shaker Dots and the envelope seal and ‘it’s your special day’ sentiment strip from the Mini Strips – Let’s Celebrate stamp are added to the front.
