Let’s Celebrate Grads with NEW Products!
Hey, crafty friends! It’s Taylor here today! It is time to start creating for the young people in our lives who are about to graduate from high school, college, and more. It’s an exciting life event worth celebrating! We have an array of new products debuting today that will enable you to share your excitement and congratulations and we have so many card ideas to share from the TE Creative Team! I think you’ll also love that so many of the new products can be used to celebrate other events as well and I always love that when I create my own cards, I can customize colors for the card recipient however I want.
We’ve also got a great promotion happening this week that gives you another way to express your congrats! Check out the details below!
Right now through Sunday, April 24th, when you make any purchase of $75 or more you will receive the Congrats Script die FREE! It’s the perfect sentiment for any card that you create to celebrate a special event or achievement. Offer valid while supplies last.

For today’s video, I used the new Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set paired with the Foil It – Grad panels and a few other grad themed products to create this set of graduation cards. Watch how these cards came together in the video below:
In the video, I show how I foiled 3 of the panels from the Foil It – Grad pack with Silver Deco Foil using my Minc machine. Panels from the Foil It – Grad pack are designed to use with the Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set and I show you how to get everything lined up and held in place to stencil the designs onto the panels. My card set is stenciled with Cherry Pop, Mulled Wine, Earl Gray, and Oreo inks. I added a sentiment onto the panel with the fireworks that is put together with the Congrats die, Cut For You 2022 – Black, and Class of 2022 stamp set. The finishing touch for the front of the cards is Bits & Pieces – Black Drip Drops and then I added sentiments to the insides of the cards using The Inside Scoop – Grad stamp set and new All You Need Stamp.
While one of the quadrants of the Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set is specifically geared towards graduation, the other 3 can be used for other types of celebrations! And make sure to use colors customized for the card recipients special day. I specifically used school colors for my cards, but you could use traditional graduation colors – like black and gold/silver – or use the graduate’s favorite colors!
Check out the list below for all of the supplies that I used on my cards:
Here’s a closer look at the new products that we are releasing today along with inspiration from the TE Creative Team:
Starting things out is the new Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set that you just saw in my video above! Our innovative Create-in-Quads Layering Stencils make it easy to create four different A2 cards in minutes! Simply place your 8″ x 10 1/2″ cardstock panel within the etched guidelines on each stencil and apply the medium of your choice using the alignment squares to make sure everything lines up perfectly. When you’re done, just cut the finished panel into quarters to reveal a family of A2 card fronts!
Use Create-in-Quads Hooray to mass-produce graduation or celebration themed cards in four different designs! You can add sentiments and embellishments to make each one unique!
Make a statement with your graduation and other cards to celebrate achievements cards when you use the sentiments from our High Five stamp set. Featuring a trendy serif font with extra tails and flourishes, the sentiments include:
- you’re a star!
- high five!
- you you did!
- proud of you!
- congrats, grad!
Set coordinates with the High Five die collection (sold separately).
Emily Mydlowski did traditional graduation colors with the Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set to create this set of cards. She stenciled one of the stencils with Oreo Ink and the other two with Happy Medium in gold and silver glitter – I love all of the sparkle! The sentiments from the High Five stamp set are embossed in gold on Oreo cardstock, cut out with the coordinating dies, and paired with sentiments from the Building Blocks – Well Done stamp.
We did the work for you and cut out the year ‘2022’ to use on graduation cards, scrapbook pages, and more! The Cut for You 2022 pack includes 10 cut outs and is available in either black or silver 110 lb. cardstock.
Heather Nichols also did a more traditional grad color combination on this set of graduation cards created with the Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set. To customize the cards for this year, she added Cut For You 2022 – Black cut outs to each card along with sentiments from the High Five stamp set that are embossed in gold. Each card has a thin frame cut out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die and is finished off with a grad cap cut out with the Little Bits – Grad Cap dies that you’ll hear more about a little later on in this post.
The new Foil It – Grad is set of 12 pre-printed panels (measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″). Each panel features a sentiment customized for the class of 2021 (two each of six unique designs). Designs are printing onto our 100 lb. Sugar Cube cardstock. Because they are toner-printed, they can be used with a foiling machine or heat laminator to apply foil – or can be used in black and white while adding colorful accents with blender brushes, markers, pencils, or stamping.
Here’s a colorful approach to graduation cards from Noriko Fairchild! Noriko stenciled the designs from the Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set onto Foil It – Grad panels in a rainbow of colors: Cherry Pop, Lollipop, Lemon Meringue, Cookie Monster, and Blue Corn. Choosing ink colors that overlap to create additional colors steps up the look! The panels are foiled with several different solid and pattern Deco Foils that create a fun sparkle and shine on each card.
Emily Mydlowski created graduation cards with school colors in mind! She foiled the Foil It – Grad panels with Copper Deco Foil using her Minc machine and then added details in orange and black. The cards at the top feature stars stenciled with a new layering stencil set that you’ll learn more about below. Emily added a few die cut graduation caps cut out with the Little Bits – Grad Cap dies and stars cut out with the Starstruck die collection to the card on the bottom.
If you loved out Bokeh Layered Stencil set, then you are going to love the new Bokeh Stars Layering Stencil set! The Bokeh Stars Layering Stencil set includes three stencils with alignment guides, designed to layer together to create a gorgeous bokeh star effect. Create colorful card backgrounds with inks, glitter pastes, foils and more to celebrate so many occasions!
This card created by Noriko Fairchild featuring the stenciled stars from the Bokeh Stars Layering Stencil set would be great for graduation, to send congratulations, or even to send encouragement! Noriko stenciled the stars in a gradient effect using Plum Punch, Lollipop, Lemon Meringue, and Cookie Monster inks and then added lots of splatters with Oreo ink. The ‘you’re a star!’ sentiment from the High Five stamp set is embossed in white on Oreo cardstock and Noriko embellished the card with Bits & Pieces – Black Drip Drops.
Jen Shults used a school color combination for this graduation card created with the Bokeh Stars Layering Stencil set. She stenciled the stars using Blueberry, Earl Gray, and Gumball inks and added splatters in white and dark blue. I love how Jen framed the design using a frame from the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die. The ‘high five!’ sentiment from the High Five stamp set is embossed in silver on Blueberry cardstock and Jen set a grad cap at the top left of it that is cut out with the Little Bits – Grad Cap dies.
Give someone a shout out to celebrate a big accomplishment! The Shout Out – You Did It Layering Stencil set includes two stencils: one to stencil the sentiment and another to add a dimensional shadow effect. You can also cut out the sentiment using the Shout Out – You Did It die (sold separately) for even more possibilities!
This fun shaker card by Jill Hawkins features the ‘you did it!’ sentiment created with the Shout Out – You Did It Layering Stencil set. Jill stenciled the letters in a rainbow of colors (Lollipop, Candy Corn, Pineapple, Granny Smith, Cilantro, and Cookie Monster), using Post-it Removable Tape to mask off the stencil where she needed to for each color. The stenciled panel is cut out with a Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets die and enclosed in a A2 Infinity Shaker Panel with Bit & Pieces – Confetti Dots, Bits & Pieces – Sparkly Circles, and Snow Flurries sequins.
Here’s a completely different, yet still very colorful look from Kavya using the Shout Out – You Did It die. Kavya cut out the letters from a striped background that is pieced with the Easy Strips – 1/4″ die cut out from a rainbow of cardstock colors. She offset the rainbow striped letters over letters cut out from Sugar Cube cardstock to create a dimensional look. The card is finished off with a frame from the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die and Mini Strips sentiments over each word.
Celebrate and encourage your loved ones for graduations and other big life events with the heartfelt sentiment on the All You Need stamp. The sentiment fills up your A2 card front and you can accent it with a border, stamped images, embellishments, and more to customize it.
Heather Nichols stamped the sentiment from the All You Need stamp onto a piece of vellum using Oreo ink for this graduation card. She layered the vellum over a background that is stenciled with the Bokeh Stars Layering Stencil set. The stars are stenciled with Toffee, Earl Gray, and Sugar Cube ink on Toffee cardstock. The design is framed with a Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 die and Heather added a graduation cap underneath the sentiment that is cut out with the Little Bits – Grad Cap dies.
Kavya used just a portion of the sentiment from the All You Need stamp on this Mini Slim graduation card. The sentiment is embossed in white on a Confetti Cake cardstock background that is shaded with Confetti Cake and Cookie Monster inks. I love all of the grad caps cut out with the Little Bits – Grad Cap dies (more on the new die set below!) scattered around the card design and the globe is from the Whole Wide World die collection.
Add the perfect touch to your graduation cards with the Little Bits – Grad Cap dies. Cut out the cap from one color of cardstock and add the tassel in another. There are two tassel options so you can choose what side of the hat to have it hang off from. Add just one grad cap to your project or a whole bunch – you have seen lots of examples using the grad cap on projects from the TE Creative Team today!
Customize your cards for 2022 grads with the Clearly Crafty Class of 2022 stamp set. The set includes several options to add ‘Class of 2022’, congrats, and more to your projects as well as a tiny grad cap icon image!
Melody Rupple added elements from the Class of 2022 stamp set on cards created with the Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set. For the card on the left, she embossed the ‘Class of 2022’ in gold under the sentiments that are framed with the stenciled star design. The card on the right features the ‘2022’ stamped under the ‘congrats, grad!’ sentiment from the High Five set under the stenciled and die cut (with the Little Bits – Grad Cap dies!) grad caps.
