I’ll be sharing a look at all of the new products for this baby release, sharing inspiration from the TE Creative Team, and creating an interactive baby card using the new Vintage Wood Toys Die collection, Oh Baby Script die, and more! If you aren’t able to join me during the live, you will be able watch the replay afterwards.
Check out the list below for all of the supplies that I used to create my card that I am sharing during the live broadcast:
Now here’s a closer look at the new products that are debuting today in the TE webstore today along with inspiration from the TE Creative Team:
Create the cutest baby toys around with the Vintage Wood Toys die collection! Cut five different toy critters (elephant, dog, whale, duck, and bunny) with the set to use on your baby themed cards and projects. Transform the toys into pull toys with the wheel dies or buttons – they are perfect for using on interactive card designs!
Emily Mydlowski created a trio of cards featuring critters from the Vintage Wood Toys die collection. The main part of the animals is cut out from Sugar Cube cardstock and then Emily added a pop of color to each one. The animals are set onto scalloped squares stenciled with the Masking Stencils – Scalloped Squares set and the sentiments are from the new Mini Strips – Baby stamp (more details below!)
The Oh Baby Script die makes it easy to look like you’re a pro at hand-lettering, and is perfect for projects celebrating a new baby! Use it for shower invitations, announcements, congratulations, thank you cards, and more for the new arrival!
TE’s Mini Strips collection is a smaller version of our very popular Simple Strips collection. The Mini Strips – Baby stamp coordinates with our original Mini Strips die, Mini Strips – Asymmetrical die, or Mini Strips – Flags die (sold separately) to create 10 baby themed sentiment strips that are perfect for all your cards and gift tags to celebrate a new baby. Use these sayings individually or layer them together for more impact.
Heather Nichols combined both the Oh Baby Script die and Mini Strips – Baby stamp to create the sentiments for this pair of baby cards. The card also features a whole train of toys put together with the Vintage Wood Toys die collection. The background of the card is stenciled with the Masking Stencils – Scalloped Ovals set and a new rotating stencil that you’ll hear more about a little later in this post.
Our Baby Carriage die collection includes everything you need to make an adorable baby carriage in any color that you want! It’s perfect for baby themed cards, tags, and more!
Noriko Fairchild put together a pretty in pink carriage with the Baby Carriage die collection. She set the carriage onto a cloudy background impressed with a new piercing plate you’ll hear more about shortly! I love how she used the Masking Stencils – Scalloped Rectangles set to add the light blue background behind the carriage with Confetti Cake ink. The sentiment is cut out with our new Oh Baby Script die and the card is framed with a thin frame cut out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die.
Create sweet baby cards with our Full Circle – Baby stamp set! The set features a 3 1/4″ round stamp filled with baby themed icons (like baby carriages, bottles, and diaper pins) that can be used as a background or an accent on your cards and crafts. (It also happens to fit perfectly inside the larger circle stencil that’s part of our Masking Stencils – Circles!) Make it extra special when you add one or more of the included sentiments: ‘bundle of joy’, ‘it’s a boy!’, ‘it’s a girl!’, ‘hello world’, ‘welcome little one’, and ‘congratulations’.
Melody Rupple broke out her Copic markers to add color to all of the adorable images on this baby card created with the Full Circle – Baby stamp set. She cut the circle image out with a Stitched Circle Stacklets die, layered it onto a Petite Scallop Circle Stacklets die, and added it to her card over a scalloped square that is stenciled with the Masking Stencils – Scalloped Squares set. The ‘welcome little one’ sentiment is stamped onto a cardstock strip and set next to a cute little duck that put together with the Vintage Wood Toys die collection. I love the button wheels with the twine stitched through them – so cute!
Cut out the tiniest of clothes for your baby themed projects using our new Littlest Laundry die collection. The die collection includes a tiny onesie, footie pajamas, and bib plus tiny details to customize them however you want. Hang the tiny clothes on a clothesline complete with tiny clothespins!
Our Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate is an easy way to create a beautiful cloud pattern of detailed dots on your cards. Sized to perfectly fit an A2 card front, this die will add gorgeous texture to all your projects!
Heather Nichols added a clothesline of tiny baby clothes to each of these baby shaker cards with the Littlest Laundry die collection. She cut out the little clothes from Salt Water Taffy, Potato Chip, and Spearmint cardstock, adding polka dots to the onesies and pajamas using the On the Dot stencil with Sugar Cube ink. The shaker is filled with sparkly stars, Snow Flurries sequins, and the little shapes from the die collection. The card background is Toffee cardstock (surprise!) impressed with the new Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate and the sentiment is from the Full Circle – Baby stamp set.
I love all of the fun and colorful details that Kavya added to the tiny clothes on her card created with the Littlest Laundry die collection. She added details with the shapes from the die set, strips of cardstock, markers, and a white gel pen. The sky in the background is Peaches ‘n’ Cream cardstock shaded with pink ink, splattered in white and pink, and impressed with the Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate. The larger onesie is from the new Onesie Funsies Die & Clear Stamp Combo set that you can find more out about below!
Create custom baby onesies for your baby cards, tags and more with our new Onesie Funsies Die & Clear Stamp Combo set. Cut out the onesie with the die and add a cute image and/or one of the cheeky sentiments from the clear stamp set that will bring a smile to your face!
Jill Hawkins created a set of gingham onesie baby cards using the new Onesie Funsies Die & Clear Stamp Combo set and a new stencil set that you will hear about shortly! She added the plaid pattern to a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock using a rainbow of ink colors, cut out the onesies with the die, and added the sentiments stamped with Oreo Ink. I love all of the texture on the background of her card created with a Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate die and score lines. Check out those adorable little hangers that are also available with this new release!
Add a diagonal gingham plaid to your cards and crafts with the Gingham Rotating Stencil. Perfect for baby themed cards and more, this stencil allows you to apply one color, rotate it 90 degrees and apply color again to create a gingham plaid pattern!
Check out all of the different ways that Melody Rupple used the Gingham Rotating Stencil with the Onesie Funsies Die & Clear Stamp Combo set to create all of these baby cards! She used two colors of ink on each of the cards on the right to create the card backgrounds and used just one color of ink for the cards on the left for the pattern on the onesies. The cards on the left also feature backgrounds created with the Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate and all of the cards include sentiments from the Mini Strips – Baby stamp.
