Today’s video is from Joy Baldwin. Watch the video below to see how this cute baby card was created from start to finish:
In the video, Joy shares how to create a darling baby card with several of the new baby products. She starts off creating the background ink blending with Blue Corn, Blueberry, and Poblano Pepper inks. The inked panel is impressed using the Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate. Then Joy added dimension and sparkle to the background panel by applying Glitter Grab through the St. Nick Stars stencil and sprinkling Sugar Cube glitter over it.
The pajamas, clothesline, and clothespins are cut out with the Littlest Laundry die collection and Joy added details to the pajamas using a white gel pen and a tiny moon from the die collection cut from Blue Corn cardstock. The scalloped frame is from the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate die and the sentiment on the card is put together using the Oh Baby Script die, Mini Strips – Baby stamp, and Mini Strips die.
Check out the list below for the supplies that Joy used on her card:
Here’s one more round up of cards from the TE Creative team that were created with products from this week’s release:
The cute whale on this mini slim baby card by Jill Hawkins is from the Vintage Wood Toys die collection. The whale is cut out of Confetti Cake cardstock and Jill added a big google eye and used the extra tail detail as a waterspout – too fun! The background on the card is stenciled with the Tidal stencil over the top of the Mini Slim Scalloped Rectangle masking stencil to add the scalloped edge detail. Jill finished off the card with the Oh Baby Script die for the sentiment and I love the tiny pink heart that she inset into it!
Noriko Fairchild created an interactive card that features the elephant from the Vintage Wood Toys die collection. She used the On the Straight Track die collection to enable the elephant to slide up on the card to reveal the rest of the sentiment. The sentiments are from the Mini Strips – Baby stamp and the background is created with the Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate and Masking Stencils – Scalloped Rectangles set.
Kavya took the duck from the Vintage Wood Toys die collection and transformed it into a rubber duck! She cut out the duck from Pineapple cardstock, added Candy Corn ink to the beak, and added the wing cut out from Potato Chip cardstock. I love that Kavya used the Build a Scene – Rolling Clouds dies to create a bubble bath! The background of the card is stamped with the Rainbows All Around stamp and the sentiments are from the Full Circle – Baby stamp set.
Jen Shults created a pair of Mini Slim baby cards that feature the Baby Carriage die collection. The carriage on the left was put together with Peaches ‘n’ Cream and Guava cardstock and the card on the right was put together with Confetti Cake and Lavender Glaze cardstock – customize the colors for your project however you like! The background panels are stenciled with the Floral Lattice stencil and the sentiments are from the Mini Strips – Baby stamp.
This pair of baby cards by Emily Mydlowski was created with the cutest little clothes from the Littlest Laundry die collection. I love the touch of sparkle that Emily added by cutting the clothesline out from silver glitter cardstock! The girl card features Cupcake cardstock and the boy card features Sprinkles cardstock. The background of the cards is impressed with the Cloudy Skies Piercing Plate and the sentiments are from the Mini Strips – Baby stamp.
Jill Hawkins put together a whole set of mini cards with the Onesie Funsies Die & Clear Stamp Combo set. All of the onesies features the gingham pattern created with the Gingham Rotating Stencil and the fun sentiments or image from the Onesie Funsies set. The mini card base is cut out with the Scalloped Notecard die. Jill added score lines to the mini cards for extra texture and tiny hearts cut out with the Little Bits – Hearts die.
This sweet pair of gender neutral baby cards by Jen Shults were created with several of the new baby products from this release. The onesies are from the Onesie Funsies Die & Clear Stamp Combo set are cut out of Potato Chip and Key Lime cardstock with the sentiments embossed on the front in white. The background behind the onesies is stamped with the Full Circle – Baby stamp set and the sentiment strips are stamped with Mini Strips – Baby stamp and cut out with the Mini Strips – Flags die.
