Congratulate the New Mr. & Mrs. With NEW Wedding Products!
Hey, crafty friends! It’s Taylor here and I have been looking forward to share our newest release with you today that focuses on all things wedding! It’s been a little while since we have had a wedding themed release and I am pretty excited about the offerings that allow you to create cards personalized perfectly for the happy couple. There are new stamps, new dies, a new stencil, new foiling options, a new Pierce & Cut plate concept, a new Mini Strips stamp, and the sweetest flowers and pearls to add the perfect finishing touches. Wedding season is just around the corner, so it’s the perfect time to get crafting!
Before we got to all of the new wedding products and inspiration, I have a few announcements regarding the TE Creative Team. Everything in time comes with change, which can be both bittersweet and happy at the same time.
Noriko Fairchild has been a part of the TE Creative Team for many years! You’ve all come to love her fabulous creations (that are always stepped up 10 notches!). Noriko will be taking a break from papercrafting as she pursues a new career path as a nurse anesthetist. And while farewells are never fun, we are so happy for her and know that she can’t escape us all that easily. The friendships we’ve built through papercrafting will last forever and the doors of TE will be wide open for her return if she finds herself in a position to do that in the future. Go get ’em, Noriko! We’re cheering you on!
This week will be Noriko’s last release on the TE Creative team and we’re excited to welcome a “new” face next week! I put “new” in quotes because Lori Craig needs no introduction among TE friends and fans! She’s become known for her gorgeous illustrations and has been a part of our Stamp Joy teaching team for years and years. Lori is another long-time friend and I know you’re going to be wowed by her work in the coming months! Welcome, Lori!

Today’s video is from Joy Baldwin using several of the new products from the Wedding release. Watch how she created this pair of wedding dress cards in the video below:
In the video, Joy shows how she put together wedding dresses using the Happily Ever After die collection and Happily Ever After stencil in two different ways. For the white dress, Joy cut out the solid dress from Sugar Cube cardstock and then added the intricate design to it using the stencil, Glitter Grab, and Sugar Cube glitter. For the pink dress, Joy cut out the intricate design first from a piece of Rose Water cardstock, cut out the design with the solid dress die, and backed the dress with a piece of vellum cut out with the solid dress die.
Here’s a closer look at the two different cards that Joy created with the dresses:
The pink dress is added to a Mint Julep background cut out with a Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate die. Joy added flowers to the dress that are put together using the How Does Your Garden Grow die collection with Sugar Cube and Passion Fruit cardstock colors along with the new Bits & Pieces – Pearl Drip Drops – I love the pop of color that they add! The ‘for the bride to be’ sentiment is from the new Mini Strips – Wedding stamp and is embossed in gold on Sugar Cube cardstock.
This card has a traditional wedding dress look with the glittered design on the Sugar Cube cardstock! I love the pearl accents that Joy added with the Bits & Pieces – Pearl Drip Drops at the waistline and down the front of the dress. The background of the card is cut out from Sea Salt cardstock, again using a Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate die and Joy added a few of the sentiment strips to the top and bottom of the card from the Mini Strips – Wedding stamp.
Check out the list below for all of the supplies that Joy used on her cards:
Here’s a closer look at the new products for the Wedding release along with inspiration from the TE Creative Team:
Perfect for creating elegant wedding, bridal shower, and even anniversary cards, the Mr. & Mrs. stamp includes a masculine font for Mr. and a swirly, more feminine font for Mrs. Give your card added depth and design by pairing the stamped sentiment with the Mr. & Mrs. Pierce & Cut Plate.
Add glitz to your wedding, anniversary and bridal shower cards with Foil It – Mr. & Mrs.! Use the panels as is or top with foil and run it through your Minc machine (a heat laminator also works to foil.) Foil It – Mr. & Mrs. coordinates with the Mr. & Mrs. Pierce & Cut Plate to create an easy but oh-so-elegant card! The Foil it – Mr. & Mrs. package includes 12 – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ pre-printed panels (1 pattern) on 100 lb. Sugar Cube cardstock.
With the Mr. & Mrs. Pierce & Cut Plate you can quickly add a beautiful pattern of dots and swirls to your wedding, bridal shower, or anniversary card. Use on its own or with the coordinating Mr. & Mrs. stamp and Foil It – Mr. & Mrs. panels. Tip: When using coordinating items, first stamp or foil the panel and then use the Pierce & Cut plate.
Jill Hawkins did a bright and colorful look on this card with the Foil It – Mr. & Mrs. panels foiled with Summer Rainbow Deco Foil. The swirls and piercing designs around the foiled sentiment is created with the Mr. & Mrs. Pierce & Cut Plate. To accent the design, Jill chose cardstock colors to coordinate with the foil (Lollipop, Guava, and Pineapple) and cut out tiny flowers with the new How Does Your Garden Grow dies – more on these new dies a bit further down in this post!
Kavya used the Mr. & Mrs. stamp on this unique & stunning wedding card design. The sentiment is embossed in white on Dried Fig cardstock and the impressed details are added with the Mr. & Mrs. Pierce & Cut Plate. The sentiment is framed with the branch from the Seasonal Sprig stamp set that Kavya colored with Copic Markers and white gel pen. The die cut edges are colored to match the background to complete the look.
Cut out unique, dimensional wedding dresses for your wedding and shower themed cards using the Happily Ever After die collection. This set includes two dies, one to create a solid gown and a second to add an ornate dress design. Use them separately or together!
Create a beautiful, flowing gown with the flowery mosaic of the Happily Ever After stencil! Blend with the wedding colors of the happy couple to create a truly unique card that will stand out or use with the Happily Ever After die collection to create a multi-dimensional focal piece.
Jen Shults created a pair of wedding congrats cards with the Happily Ever After die collection and Happily Ever After stencil. The dress on the left is created with just the dies. Jen cut two dresses from Sugar Cube cardstock, one with the pattern cut out. She added ink blending to the top and bottom of the solid dress with Rose Water ink to layer under the patterned dress. The card on the right is cut out with the solid dress and the pattern is added with the stencil using Spearmint ink. Both cards feature the ‘congrats’ sentiment from the new All the Way – Congrats stamp set. Learn more about that below!
The new All the Way – Congrats includes two perfectly proportioned sentiments in an elegant font to span the width of your card. The sentiments work for weddings, graduations, and any other occasion that deserves a congratulations or congrats! Cut out the sentiments with the coordinating All the Way – Congrats die collection.
This pretty and lacy Mini Slim card by Noriko Fairchild features the ‘congratulations’ sentiment from the All the Way – Congrats stamp set embossed in gold. The background of the card features the lace border from the Flip the Lace stamp set embossed with White Pearl embossing powder. The finishing touch is a few colorful flower clusters cut out using the How Does Your Garden Grow dies with Bits & Pieces – Pearl Drip Drops for the flower centers.
The All the Way – Congrats stamp set works well for other occasions to celebrate besides a wedding! Susan Block created a set of cards with a more masculine look using the Create-in-Quads Hexagon Layering Stencil set and added the sentiments embossed in white on Blue Corn cardstock. The Simple Strips – Man Myth Legend stamp was perfect to pair with the All the Way – Congrats stamp set to create a retirement card and a general congrats to give to a special guy in your life.
TE’s Mini Strips collection is a smaller version of our very popular Simple Strips collection. The Mini Strips – Wedding stamp coordinates with our original Mini Strips die, Mini Strips – Asymmetrical die, or Mini Strips – Flags die (sold separately) to create 10 wedding and wedding shower themed sentiment strips that are perfect for all your cards and gift tags to celebrate the new couple. Use these sayings individually or layer them together for more impact.
Heather Nichols added sentiment strips from the Mini Strips – Wedding stamp to wedding cards that she created with the Foil It – Mr. & Mrs. panels and Mr. & Mrs. Pierce & Cut Plate. The panels are foiled with Amber Watercolor Deco Foil, which has a tonal look that includes shades of gold, silver, and copper and then the sentiment strips are embossed in gold – you could emboss in either silver or copper too! Heather added lots of little flowers to accent the sentiment on her cards that are created with the How Does Your Garden Grow dies. More on these little flowers below!
Add a flowery pop to your cards with How Does Your Garden Grow die collection! This set of 16 dies includes 3 flower patterns in 2 sizes each. Adhere a drip-drop embellishment in the center of the flower or stack the large & small flowers to create a layered look.
I love how Melody Rupple used the flowers cut out with the How Does Your Garden Grow dies on this pair of wedding dress cards! The dress on the left has flowers cascading down the side of the dress in white and light blue. Melody used cut outs from the dress design as leaves – so clever! Flowers are added throughout the design of the dress on the right and I love the extra texture and elegance that they add. Did you notice that the background of both of the cards is created with the Mr. & Mrs. Pierce & Cut Plate?
TE’s Bits & Pieces collection is designed to help you put the finishing touch on your cards and crafts. These unique embellishments are easy to apply with a drop of glue and will instantly add dimension to your projects.
Add beautiful accents to your cards and crafts with our Bits & Pieces – Pearl Drip Drops. These shiny opaque domes have a flat back to easily adhere to cardstock and other materials.
Emily Mydlowski created an amazing background on this card that looks like a delicate lace! the background is cut out with the Leafy Vine Cutting Plate die with flowers added throughout cut out with the How Does Your Garden Grow dies. The flower centers are Bits & Pieces – Pearl Drip Drops to add an elegant texture and shine. The sentiment on the card is put together with the All the Way – Congrats stamp set and a sentiment from the Mini Strips – Wedding stamp.
