Today my husband and I are flying back home to Iowa to be with family for his grandmother’s 85th birthday party. I think we will be spending more time in the airport and on the airplane than we will be with his family… especially with the recent security increase and the no liquid rule. No liquid!? I still haven’t figured out what I’m going to do without my water bottle. Some of the airlines serve really icky water. Anyways, I think I will survive. *rolleyes*

The reality is starting to set in that I will be away from my stamps this weekend… oh *what* will I do?? So I’ve decided to open up my eyes and challenge you to do the same. I don’t need to be with my stamps to find inspiration. And what a better place to find inspiration than the airports of America… filled with magazine stands, billboards, t-shirts, restaurants… it’s all in one place! Usually while I’m driving, grocery shopping, or picking up a prescription I am too focused on the task at hand to be inspired by the world around me.

Hopefully this weekend will be different! I’ve packed my little inspiration journal and I’m on the hunt for color, layout, and design inspiration. I’ll let you know what I find when we return! Until then… happy stamping!
