I’m just gonna toot my own horn again today and say woohoo! One of my cards was chosen as the color inspiration for the color challenge on SCS today (view challenge here)! However, the real credit belongs to Trudee, the colors were taken from a card I received from her. I absolutely love this color combo (cranberry crisp, cool caribbean, and marigold morning) so I had to grab another set and try it once again. I haven’t used In Full Bloom in so long… it’s one of my old favorites but there are so many new favorites that it has been neglected. I went back to one of my old favorite layouts as well. I just love top-folding cards! Now to the details… the background is stamped with Linen and Houndstooth (why did they have to retire by beloved Houndstooth??). I watercolored the image with reinker and aquapainter, cut around it with scallop scissors, pierced and stitched, adhered with dimensionals, and of course added a bit of stardust Stickles and some big brads. Gotta love the dyed ribbon too!!
