My Martha Stewart Card
I am sooooo far from being a Martha Stewart but I still enjoy looking at her magazines and dreaming of how one day I might magically become interested in cooking and decorating. *rolleyes* The inspiration for this card came from Martha’s website. I stamped the big flower from Bodacious Bouquet on a post it note, cut it out, folded it in half, and placed half the flower on each side of the crease in my card. I traced around the top side of the flower and cut it out with my Xacto knife. Then just pop it up! This works best with double sided cardstock so the flower has a little design to it. I added a rhinestone brad in the flower center, some ribbon, a little doodling, and an A muse sentiment. The only bad thing about this card is that it would be hard to mail. The ribbon is too bulky and the flower won’t fold down because of the rhinestone. But, I’m pretty sure I can find somebody to hand-deliver it to! Finished card size is 4.25″ square. Thanks for looking!
