Reverse Trick or Treating…
Happy Halloween!! Hope you have a spooky day! I’d love to hear what you’re going to be if you’re going to a party or dressing up for trick or treaters or if your kids are dressing up, what are they going as? Now I know it’s early for cupcake day… that’s usually on Friday, but I had to switch it up this week so I could tell you about our reverse trick or treating adventure. My husband and I live in an apartment and usually don’t get trick or treaters. So we decided to make 4 dozen cupcakes and bring them out to our friends and family who live in the area!! We spent last night baking, frosting, sprinkling, and putting together these little toothpick inserts. It was a really fun little project to do together and I’m even more excited to deliver them tonight. These toothpick inserts have a special story behind them. When I went to SoCal Mini Mania (an SCS event) about a month ago, Emily (WaterPixie) handed out treats tied with little pumpkin tags and she gave us a challenge. The challenge was to use her pumpkin tag to make another project. She will be judging the projects today for a special little prize. This is what I decided to use the pumpkin tag for. Her tag is the one with the ribbon tied on it and the rest I made up myself. I will get back to showing and telling about craft show schtuff tomorrow… only 5 days away! 🙂
