A Whipper Snapper Birthday
I just received a gigantic order from Whipper Snapper last week! The new fall/winter collection is awesome and I just couldn’t resist! Most of the images I ordered are drawn by Anna Wight (or SweetMissDaisy as you might know her). Wow… that woman can draw! Love your stuff, Anna! Can’t wait for more! 🙂 I started with this sketch from Jen del Muro. The background is stamped with the Polka Dots Backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms. I used Decor Stripe patterned paper from the Heidi Grace It’s My Party Collection. The cardstock colors are Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink, Certainly Celery, and White. The image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I highlighted the presents with Crystal Stickles and added a pink rhinestone to the flower center. The sentiment is from PaperTrey’s Faux Ribbon set. The circles were cut using my Creative Memories circle cutting system. I faux stitched the pink layer, added silver brads, and some green ribbon from my stash to complete the card. I hope you all have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!
A few other tidbits of information:
1) I spent a considerable amount of time updating my posting labels. You’ll now find a spot in my sidebar labeled CATEGORIES where you can see all of my posts organized by the posting labels. If you want to see everything I’ve created with PaperTreyInk stamps, just click on PaperTreyInk. If you’d like to see every card I’ve ever posted, just click on Card Creations. I hope this is useful!
2) According to the tape manufacturer, I should be receiving the tape order by the end of the week. This should give Jon and I the weekend to package up the orders and get the shipped out on Monday and Tuesday of next week. I will keep you updated if the tape doesn’t arrive as expected. Thanks so much for your patience!
