Hambo Valentine’s Day
Thank you all for your name suggestions yesterday! I had so much fun reading through all the stories of your past kittens and cats! There are so many good names to choose from so I think we need the weekend to mull it over. Since we’re such big fans of The Office, Jon suggested naming them Jim and Dwight. LOL! I think I’d have trouble cuddling with a cat named after Dwight from The Office though! All I could come up with myself were girly names like Cupcake (how perfect would that be!?), but I’m just not sure a male cat could fit that name. 🙂 So anyhow… I really appreciate your suggestions and I’ll get back to you on Monday with the new names! These are a couple cards I made with my Hambo stamps for an upcoming Valentine’s Day card class at my local scrapbook store. Even though these aren’t traditional Valentine’s Day images, I thought they’d be cute Valentine’s for friends…something a little different! The patterned paper is Rusty Pickle Chocolate Kisses collection. I colored the cherries with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. The scalloped circle is cut out with a Spellbinders die, but I’ll be using the similar size Marvy punch for class just to make it easier. I sponged around the edges of the image and the pink layer with Chocolate Chip ink. The polka dot ribbon is May Arts from StarLitStudio. I didn’t want to tie it around the whole cardfront so I used my anywhere hole punch in the middle of the card and threaded the ribbon through and around the inside. This second card is pretty self-explanatory. I used the same collection of patterned paper, Spellbinders dies, and polka dot ribbon from StarLitStudio. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
