Papertrey Ink May Release
Have you ordered your Papertrey goodies yet!? I had so much fun working with the sets this month. Anything and everything baby is on my must-have list and Nichole did it so wonderfully with the Bitty Baby Blessings set. As I was making the baby onesies I was so proud of myself for working with something other than paper! I called my mom on the phone and told her I was sewing! She was so surprised… she asked me what I was sewing. I told her that I bought some fabric from Joann’s, stamped it with the images from the stamp set, and ironed it onto the onesies. She said “So what did you sew… the onesies?” I laughed and said that I was considering this sewing even though I didn’t use a needle
and thread. That’s how limited my knowledge of sewing is! LOL! I packaged the onesies in an empty tin that used to hold Maya Road chipboard shapes. I can’t wait to give this gift away! The instant I saw the crown in the Honey Bees set I knew I had to do something with it! I decided to try something fun… obviously, I am aware that bees are not pink… but pink is fun and definitely fit for a queen. The crown is embossed with silver embossing powder and embellished with Swarovski crystals. Last, but not least, I enjoyed using Alli Miles’ Mailbox Greetings
set. I wanted to try a card using the mailbox image without coloring them in. I added two layers of hearts, grass, and a Spellbinders tag die for the sentiment. It was really easy to make and it still creates a lovely card even if you don’t enjoy coloring! I used Papertrey’s Berry Sorbet, Spring Moss, and Stamper’s Select White cardstock. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Stay tuned tomorrow for Cupcake Friday and another sketch challenge!
