“Simply Irresistible” Challenge
I’m still trying to comprehend the fact that it’s June 1st!! Nonetheless, it’s time for another Papertrey Ink Senior Design Team Challenge. This month we’re using our Papertrey stamps and a resist technique. I’m not a “technique” stamper by nature so this was definitely a challenge! I decided to use Polka Dot Basics and the Versamark resist technique to create the awning. I started by stamping the solid polka dots in Versamark onto glossy cardstock. Then I brayered over the stamped polka dots with Real Red ink. The Versamark resists the ink and leaves behind “pinkish” dots. The I used the outline polka dots and stamped over the resisted images with Palette Noir ink. I embellished each little dot with an itty bitty rhinestone. The “awning” is popped up on foam tape and the black polka dot ribbon is from American Crafts. I used glossy cardstock for the image panel as well. The strawberry image is from My Punny Valentine and the sentiment from Year-Round Puns. Make sure you check out the awesome challenge creations from the other design team members: Debbie, Amy, Lisa, Heather, and Nichole! Thanks for stopping by today!
