Warmest Wishes with Whipper Snapper
Good morning! I have another Whipper Snapper card to show you today. I bought two of these snowman stamps so I could give one to a friend… the image reminds me so much of her. I made this card to go along with the little package I’m sending out to her. It’s supposed to be a surprise so I hope she’s not reading! I colored the image with Copic markers to match the Doodlebug patterned paper I picked up at my local scrapbook store. I love this new line of Christmas papers because they’re already glittered and flocked. It makes them a bit more expensive, but totally worth it to me. It knocks the card up a notch without any extra work on my part… gotta love that! I added Crystal Stickles to the snow and Ruby Red Liquid Pearls to the buttons on the big snowman. The double-edge polka dot ribbon is from Taylored Expressions. The sentiment is from PaperTrey and I punched it out using the EK Success 1 1/4″ scalloped circle punch. I also “pulled a Denise” and decorated the inside of my card with a matching strip of patterned paper. Denise, you’ve got me hooked on doing that lately! Why not, right? I’ve got all the stamp and papers dragged out already so I might as well pretty up the inside while I’m at it! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Hope to see you here tomorrow for Cupcake Friday!
P.S. I forgot to mention yesterday that Jami has a super sweet calendar project on the SASI blog! You can check it out here!
