TE Sneak Peeks – It’s a Garden Party!
Welcome to the first day of sneak peeks for the Taylored Expressions May Release. I’m so excited that you’re joining us today! I’ve been eager to tell you this next bit of news for a while now. See the little TE logo on the left? Well, that’s part of the big announcement. Today the Baker’s Dozen and I are sharing sneak peeks using two stamp sets and one background stamp from a new collection that I illustrated myself! I had so much fun designing and using these stamps and I can hardly wait to see what the rest of the team has come up with!
My first project uses the Garden Party Blooms set! As I was browsing the aisles of Michaels the idea for this little thank you gift popped into my head! So I found a small glass vase, white pipe cleaners (that I colored with a YG17 Copic marker), and a package of colored M&M’s. You know the bags of M&M’s that are all one color? I love those! I’m not sure why, but I always have more fun eating M&M’s in pretty colors! I stamped the flowers in various colors of Colorbox Chalk Ink, cut them out, attached the pipe cleaner, and arranged them inside the vase. Then I adhered some yellow glimmer ribbon around the neck of the vase with Sticky Tape and added the ‘Thanks a Bunch’ sentiment to the outside. I think this little vase is such a fun way to deliver a non-traditional thank you!
For my second project I used the coordinating Garden Party Critters set. The images in this set can be used along with Garden Party Blooms, but you’ll find plenty of standalone combinations for fun and cute cards! I started by stamping the bees and beehive in Memento Rich Cocoa and coloring them with Copic markers. The image panel was cut with the Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles Large. All of the supplies from this card are from our Garden Party Project Pantry Kit. What’s that? Well, it’s part of my second exciting announcement for today!
INTRODUCING THE PROJECT PANTRY
When you’re looking for just the right ingredients to cook an incredible meal or bake a delectable dessert, where do you look? In the kitchen pantry of course! So when you want to create a beautiful card where do you turn? To the Project Pantry! Today we’re introducing a new line of kits called the Project Pantry with perfectly coordinated ingredients for your papercrafting projects. We’ll be introducing new kits each month with the option to purchase the kit with or without stamp sets!
Many of you have shared how much you enjoy the variety, quality, and value of our kits! You may already be familiar with our Key Ingredients Subscription and our Taylored Card Kits, and the new Project Pantry kits will give us even more opportunity to bring you coordinating products. The contents and prices of these kits will vary from month to month.
The patterned paper included in the Garden Party Project Pantry is one of my absolute favorites! By now you all know how much I love bright colors so when I saw the fun colors and patterns in the 72 & Sunny collection (by We R Memory Keepers) I knew it would be perfect!
For $22.95 you’ll receive all of the pictured supplies:
