Hangin’ Out with Taylored Expressions – Sneak Peeks Day 2
Thanks for hangin’ out at TE for our second day of sneak peeks. If you missed our Garden Party yesterday you’ll want to scroll down a bit to check out the sneak peeks from the Baker’s Dozen. And today we’re sharing sneak peeks of two more stamp sets and another Project Pantry kit! So let’s get to it!
My first sneak peek uses Hangin’ Out, a concept brought to you by the super sweet Sankari Wegman and illustrated by the amazing Nancy McKinney! I love the whimsical images and the versatility of this stamp set! You might look at my card and say, “Versatility? It looks like a baby set to me.” But it’s not just a baby set! As you hop around to check out what the rest of the Baker’s Dozen has created you’ll also find love, anniversary, and friend cards too. This is one crowded clothesline! And the best part is that you get to decide exactly what you want to hang on it! I started by stamping the poles in Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Then I stamped each piece of baby attire in between the poles. Because you’re able to choose exactly what you want to hang on your clothesline, you’ll need to draw the line between each article of clothing. It’s super easy to do and we recommend the .05 Copic Multiliner in order to be consistent with the line width of the stamped images. The set does include the little bows…don’t worry, you don’t have to draw those! *grin*
After stamping the clothesline scene, I masked all of the pieces and stamped the Cloudy Days background in Ice Blue Colorbox Chalk ink. This is the very first background stamp that I’ve designed for our BIG backgrounds collection and it works great for creating a quick and easy backdrop for outdoor scenes. It’s 5.75″ square to cover large square cards too!
For my second sneak peek project I decided to whip up a sweet hello with our new Cuppie in the Kitchen set! I stamped the image in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored it with Copic markers. Whenever I’m shopping for new kitchen appliances and accessories, I’m always drawn to the red ones! A red Kitchenaid mixer, red bowls, red dishes, and even red spatulas! So I decided Cuppie’s Kitchen would be full of red accessories and I gave her a big red bowl. I cut out the image with Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles Large. The cardstock, patterned paper, and red glitter candy dot are all from the In the Kitchen Project Pantry kit.
Yes, you read that right! We have another fabulous Project Pantry kit this month! Before I tell you about it, I want to make sure that everybody sees this… the Project Pantry kits are for everyone! You do not need to have a subscription in order to receive these kits. Our Key Ingredients Subscription is a separate program where kits are exclusive to subscribers. But these Project Pantry kits are designed to coordinate with our stamp releases and are available to everyone!
The In the Kitchen Project Pantry kit was designed to coordinate with our Cuppie in the Kitchen stamp set, but the fun patterns and colors would work well with lots of images.
For just $22.95 you’ll receive:
12 sheets of cardstock (10 colored, 2 Choice Buttercream)
20 sheets of 6×6 double-sided patterned paper from the My Mind’s Eye So Sophie Clever Collection
