TESC112 – You’re the Best, Dad
Happy Friday! For today’s sketch challenge I decided to use the new Dad Tools A la Carte image just released today at the TE Store! This image was really easy to color, but as I was coloring these tools I was thinking, “Why don’t my husband’s tools look like these?” Instead of asking, “Will you get me the Phillips head screwdriver?” he could say “Grab me the yellow one.” Wouldn’t that be so much easier!? Instead, all the tools are black and I fumble around wondering “Who’s Phillip?” *grin* As you can tell, I’m much more about the color of my tools than the function! I stamped the image onto Choice Buttercream cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored it with Copic markers. I also highlighted a few of the tools with silver paint pen. The patterned paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Lil’ Man collection and I used a few screw brads and some twine for masculine finishing touches. Thanks for stopping by today!
